The Star is a breath of fresh air in Pershore. Consistently good food, drinks, atmosphere and staff. I have eaten here a few times now and the food has been excellent each time. This put is exactly what Pershore has needed for many years - somewhere that you can have a quiet drink, quick snack or a special occasion meal,...

Here's the problem. When you live in a gastronomic desert you don't want the only local place with decent food to be so booked up that you can't get in. On the other hand you want it to succeed. We had a long day today and no energy left to cook. Despite a big party booked in we got an...

The Star now deserves its name. It has a very pleasant and welcoming atmosphere, consistent and excellent food, some of it innovative. But it also caters for those who just want a quiet drink, with or without company. This is a splendid addition to the Pershore scene: you feel the staff really care that people should enjoy themselves - and...

Met a colleague and had a delicious lunch here mid-week by the roaring fire in the lounge. They now have GF options and will adapt most meals to accommodate you, which is great. I had Parsnip soup with a BLT on GF brown bread - awesome!!!!

The pub is well placed, in Pershore town centre. Our first stay at The Star was in mid February and our room was quiet, warm and away from the road. Fresh milk was offered for making tea in the room. We found everything we needed, including large bath towels. The pub is popular with local people. Danni is manager, works...

I am looking forward to trying the new menu in the next week or...

Varied menu and well cooked and well presented evening meal - if a little over-priced for pub food. Staff very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Would be a good alternative to a formal restaurant for an informal special occasion.

The Star Inn has changed owners this year and the improvements have been immeasurable. The previous landlord was not welcoming and the food average. Not any more! We have eaten here on a few occasions and the food has been excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. The Chef/owner takes great pride in his food and it shows. Dogs...

Haven't been to this pub in 30 years so lovely surprise to see how they have renovated it. Food was excellent. The ribeye steak was cooked to perfection. I went with 3 friends and they all said their dinner was brilliant. Didn't have starters, just as well as the meal was fairly large. Puds were good too. Not cheap, but...
