Yalina and Gustavo were helpful in every possible way...her English is fair but a little Spanish knowledge goes a long way. Food was fine, room was nice and clean, laundry was no problem, quiet, reasonably priced, location was good for sights and food.

I don't know where to start with this... you wouldn't have been able to guess that they had recently been hit by a hurricane. Yalina was *amazing*.... she's like the Godmother of Baracoa. Breakfast was an utter feast (coffee, hot chocolate, eggs, cheese, fruits, sweet treats and more). The hostel was beautiful, absolutely immaculate at all times, the staff helping...

My girlfriend and I stayed here for two nights in the week of October 31 2016. Yalina is great host, she will immediately make you feel at home. Rooms are very good with a modern air-conditioning, comfy beds and a small fridge in the room. If needed you can purchase bottled water. The breakfast is very copious, eggs, juice, local...

The breakfasts oh wow I so miss the balls of coconut to go with our fresh fruit and the hot chocolate drink to die for. Yalina is very welcoming and helpful and recommended an excellent restaurant to us - we had to go there...

Stayed here on an Intrepid tour for a few days. Yalina and Gustavo had plenty of bottled water on hand to sell to us and happy to have clothes washed. Room was perfect, and breakfast lovely. We particularly loved the hot chocolate at breakfast and Baracoa in general

Arriving hours earlier than expected and with two of us poorly posed no problems at all. Rooms were prepared in double quick time while we relaxed on the balcony watching Baracoa pass by. Our room was really nice, ventilated with classically shuttered windows, a ceiling fan, wall fan & air conditioning. Breakfast was the best of many great breakfasts we...
