My Sister and I stayed her for 7 days over the Christmas week and I must say we absolutely loved Levi. The hotel was covered in Christmas lights and snow just what we imagined. The room we had, had a sauna in which could have done with some instructions as we didnt have a clue what we were doing but eventually figured it out. Bathroom was clean and spacious although the mirror was quite low down so you banged your head when brushing your teeth lol we made use of the fridge and tea making facilities. The rooms could do with a little updating. Strange smells in the corridors on approach and the decor in the rooms themselves was dated furniture. The worst bit was that the mattresses kept sliding off the beds which at one point my sister almost fell out of bed one night! Made me giggle anyway lol one of the sockets was coming away from the wall and the lamp plug was bent so cldnt use. Apart from that everything else was good. Restaurant was a little dark but food was nice enough and plenty of choice. The Receptionists were lovely and helpful as were the bar staff in the little cafe area of the lobby. Overall we enjoyed our stay but will probably book the cabins next time so that we can have a little more freedom. I would recommend to others though. Kittos!

We have not long returned from a week staying at the Crazy Reindeer. The hotel was acceptable, but the food awful. Scrambled egg every morning that was cold. Meat for dinner was dry and curled up, used from the previous evening. Hardly any vegetarian choice. Puddings, well hardly any choice. Staff miserable, especially the reception manager! One morning we placed a sign on our door requesting that our room not be cleaned. We went to breakfast came back and our room had been cleaned, our phones and laptop visible. The reception manager did not want to know, he just sent the two maids to apologise. The maids stated that the sign was obviously knocked off of the door by another guest. Levi is beautiful, we will definitely be returning but will never go back to the Crazy Reindeer.

I stayed here for a weeks holiday through Ingham's this January. It was a wonderful hotel with clean and comfortable rooms. There was excellent heating throughout, particularly in the bathrooms to enable wet clothes to dry. We had a standard double room with en suite and access to a shared balcony which looked over the snowy forest.
The hotel was in an excellent location at the top of the hill in Levi resort and all main town attractions were all walking distance.
We had booked half board and breakfast had plenty of options for all tastes. Evening meal was also buffet style with 3-4 main course options. The food was nice enough but, as with any buffet set up, it felt a bit samey for a week so we did eat out a couple of nights. The addition of the bar and seating area on the ground floor was excellent and many groups would gather here in the evenings after tea for drinks and games.
The staff were always friendly and helpful and I could not fault their service.

An overall wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed half board at the end of December for a week. The hotel is dated and could do with a make over even though the decor fitted with the environment of a ski resort. The rooms were small but had everything we needed. We had a room with a sauna which was a nice touch. The shower was manageable but wasn't great. The beds were comfy and the hatch that could be opened to let in some cold air was a blessing when fully clothed with multiple layers before leaving the room!

Food was fine, not the best buffet and we only used it a few times. Everything was edible and quite tasty.

Great location, but anywhere in Levi would be fine.

Fine for a short visit and a place to sleep and shower but nothing more.

Currently here, half way through a weeks break with Inghams. We have a two story family apartment with two beds on the ground floor and two singles on the upper floor (with a really useful stair gate if you have younger family members staying up there). Head height is restricted up there and my 10 year old has bumped her head a number of times (nothing major just something to bear in mind if you’re planning on sleeping teenagers up there).
Room was available at 2pm on day of arrival, however, check in time is officially 4pm and the man behind reception was incredibly rude in his explanation to another family when they were a little disappointed that they had a 2 hour wait ahead of them. Room cleaning is only completed on request, however, everytime I have asked, it has always been done! Rooms are dated and seriously need a refurb however certainly doesn’t impact your holiday. Do bring your own hairdryer as the ones provided by the hotel are terrible and, due to the cold weather, an absolute necessity. Heating cupboard for drying out damp clothes is absolutely brilliant!
Location is very good - I had slight concerns that we would feel a little out of the way (however the separate beds for my 12 & 10 year rather than a shared sofa bed, meant it would have been worth it) however I was wrong! The walk into town is literally 5 mins and absolutely no bother and really quite lovely. Sleds are plentiful for younger family members and I think they would probably chose to have the ‘walk’.
Now for the biggest down point of the hotel, food! We were on a half board package. Breakfast is not too bad. Hot options of sausage, bacon, beans, hash browns, porridge. Cold meats and cheeses, lots of breads, cereals. However dinner was pretty dire. The food was barely warm, not much choice and what was there tasted as if it had been sitting for way too long. We have eaten out every night since experiencing the first dinner, so just be aware you may want to budget for that if you come half board. Restaurants are plentiful in town, however still worth making a reservation.

Positives are good food, efficient staff. Very friendly. Lovely twinkling lights plus good location. On the negative side, there’s nothing more depressing than a huge lovely fireplace and stack of logs with 3 candles burning in it instead of the inviting scene we were looking forward to. Jacuzzi open from 5 pm was warm at best and not the hot bubbler we expected.
We paid extra for a Flying Reindeer room which was quite good with underfloor heating in the bathroom. Plenty of coffee and tea and a small fridge. The bed mattresses were unusual to us and did wander a bit on the bed causing my husband to slide out. Quite funny but beware. 319 is directly under the kitchen so at 5 am every day the trolleys started rolling and what sounded like a dish washer spinning type noise. Lots of clunks and bangs. There wasn’t a free room for us to move sadly. Maybe 321 has similar issues.
Inghams reps were brilliant and we had a good deal for this hotel.

This is my second visit to Hullo Poro. Last year I went during covid and there was practically no one there.

First, even though the hotel was almost full, I did not hear very loud noises or party sounds from outside. I did hear random people in the corridor, but this is more the fault of ignorant middle-aged couples who seem think they no longer need to be considerate and shout into the room from the hall.

Second, this year I brought my own skis. The hotel DOES have a room which is to be used as a storage place for the boots and skis after a day of skiing. However, this is downstairs and via the main lounge area. Despite all the signs telling guests to not to wear ski boots in this area, this was the route I was told to take (and I checked with the staff if I was actually supposed to walk there with my boots and carrying the skis). If there was an alternative route to that route which doesn't need me to traipse snow and ice through the building I would prefer that. The main door automatically opens, but the inner door does not. It would have been easier for ski carrying if both doors opened automatically. Even better if there was some sort of trolley with wheels which I could have used to transport my kit downstairs. Maybe it is just me who struggles to carry the skis and other gear downstairs. (Bear in mind it will be very cold outside and very warm inside so it's unpleasant to spend those 10 minutes getting to the storage room). This paragraph is not so much a complaint as suggestions for improvement.

Thirdly, the location is pretty perfect. Short walk into Levi village. Both ski bus routes are easily available from the hotel.

Finally, covid issues still causing some hassle. I like to stay in hotels and not apartments because I like the room cleaned everyday. In Hullu Poro they are attempting to cater to guests like me and more worried guests who do not want people coming to their room everyday, possibly carrying the virus. You are supposed to tell the reception everyday that you want the room cleaned. I tried to tell them on the first morning that I wanted my room cleaned every day but unfortunately this didn't work and one evening I came back to an uncleaned room. Note this meant the in-room supply of tea and milk was not replenished. I accept that these things happen and it won't prevent me returning but I hope that this covid-friendly step is dropped by next year.

Stayed here in December on arrival only one room was ready out of three which was booked for our party.
The room was adequate for our needs however it was cold . We found reception staff not that friendly walking through no one acknowledged you .
We asked for someone to check the radiator and we were given a fan heater which to be honest didn’t do the job so in the 4 night we were there the room wasn’t warm .
You only got your room clean if you requested it we asked for clean towels but was told they had ran out so we would have to wait .
The food was basic breakfast was fine however the evening meal was awful and again the food was cold . They also covered up the juice machine so if you wanted a drink you had to pay for them . Again this trip was for our grandchildren they love playing outside in the snow . The hotel corridors was noisy at night with family coming back late I guess however this is not the hotels fault . We booked this trip through Ing which I feel certain things weren’t has clear has they should of been but I will take this up with them after all the holiday was a lot of money .

On arrival at this hotel, 18/12/2022once we got through the madness of checking in, trying to find on the map where our hotel room actually was I thought we had checked into a 1950s Butlins holiday camp . What a depressing place it was. The light fitting in the room was hanging off, the radiators were warm on the top but cold at the bottom. Above the curtains were filthy dirty, between the windows were dead flies that had obviously been there since the summer. Dirty towels under one of the beds from previous guests, no safe, no sink to wash your cups up apart from the bathroom sink which is totally unhygienic. As for the cleaning of our room, 3 days I left the card on the door for our room to be cleaned, 3 times I went to the reception to ask for it to be cleaned & still not cleaned after 5 days, luckily I did find where the towels were kept or for 8 days we would had to of used 2 towels & 2 small towels. The restaurant well..... If you got there for 7am for breakfast you were lucky to have warmish food, very basic food for breakfast every day, we only went for one evening meal as it was so awful. They had pizza, nuggets & chips for kids ( which all the tui reps enjoyed even though it stated it was for children only) but there was only 2 choices of meals in the evening which on looking the 2nd night is when we decided we wouldn't eat in there again. We were in room 131 which is right by the main door to the annex building we were in, so everytime someone came through the door they didn't care what time of day it was they'd bang there boots right outside our door waking us up, latest time was 2am!!!!, then you would have the snow plough out at 6ish every morning (which I understand you have to clear the snow) but not that early This holiday cost us alot of money & it was going to be our last holiday as a family of 4 & to enjoy Christmas in our favourite place. Luckily we've been going to Levi for many many years & we knew where to eat out. Unfortunately we couldn't stay in the usual hotel this time & I wish we had stayed anywhere but this hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, do your research on this hotel, we only agreed to it as our travel agent has stayed here saying it was her favourite one on levi.

We stayed with family, hotel is in a brilliant location however that is all it is good for. Food very basic and boring/cold, rooms very small and roasting, tui organisation absolutely terrible. Hotel organisation shocking aswell no one seemed to know what they were doing at all.

Beds in the rooms are the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept in, the shower just sprayed water all over the bathroom instead of on yourself.
A large number of children came down with a sickness bug while being here including my own children. With how many children caught the bug it struck me that cleanliness isn’t key with this hotel.

If you’re going to go for your breakfast or tea make sure you have your key card as the rude staff will turn you away for their error. We absolutely loved Lapland and have had the best holiday but wouldn’t stay at this hotel again, nor travel with tui.
