We stayed at Foxfires for our honeymoon and it was the best decision we made to book our holiday at the precious boutique hotel of Aggie, Paul and Gooseberry.
In every detail you feel the exuberant passion, these two absoltely lovely people invest in their accomodation and hosting guests.
Everything was clean, cozy and welcoming at all times. Nothing was missing and the passionate hospitality of these two was more than noticeable from the welcome until our goodbye.
The room (Wolf) was just wonderful and enormously elegantly decorated. Everything is from really high quality, well air-conditioned and soundproofed. The bathroom was to die for, also the extra items like shampoo and shower gel were a big plus! Their cute dog Gooseberry is so nice and gives everything the most special note you can get in an accomodation like this. Aggie and Paul created a place, where you dont want to leave. Even the Artic Spa experience is so much worth it and we totally enjoyed cooking in the Kota and doing traditional finnish sauna.
Gooseberry awaited us every morning for breakfast and Paul made the best nordic pancakes and omelett we've ever tasted whilst Aggie was serving freshly squeezed orange juice.
For us, it was just not just an holiday, it was an encounter that touched us deep inside and we cannot describe with words, how thankful we are. So it's no wonder that many tears flowed when saying goodbye.
A stay at Foxfires will make you forget all your worries and problems for a while, so that you can fully immerse yourself into the beauty of nature, that sorrounds you even when you look out of the big floor-to-ceiling windows.
If you want to step into another world where your soul is going to rest, then you definetly have to book a stay at Foxfires Mini Boutique Hotel in Levi, Lapland. It is not just an stay, it is a heartwarming welcome with friends.

Exceptional in all aspects! this absolutely stunning boutique hotel has attention to detail down to perfection. We spent our honeymoon here and it exceeded all expectations. Owners Paul & Aggie take such pride in everything they do in the hotel but also for their guests making every moment of our stay just outstanding. I cannot express enough just how amazing everything was, from the location, to home cooked extensive breakfast offerings, to the room oh wow the room and even little Gooseberry was delightful and always happy to see everyone, we didn't want to leave. The Artic Spa experience is a MUST whilst staying there. From the moment we arrived to the moment we had to leave it was just magical and perfection.

We had the pleasure at staying with Aggie and Paul in their amazing Foxfires Home July 2020.
The room with a breathtaking view to a magical Foxfires forest was like sleeping in nature - with all the latest amenities;)
Everything in the room is top notch and hand picked with love.
Paul and Aggie made a lovely and healthy breakfast every morning, perfect for an active holiday in the nature. Not to mention the truly tasty cakes, still missing those.
And what would be more perfect than relaxing in the sauna and hottub after a long day of hiking.
I would highly recommend!

This accommodation is balm for the soul. The hosts are incredibly caring and give valuable tips for the stay in Lapland. The breakfast is plentiful with many additional treats available upon request. For the sweet ending, there was a different dessert every day. We remember the first day very fondly: the dumplings filled with delicious berries and a sugar coating will remain in our memories for a long time. The Wolf room, with its two huge windows, gives you the feeling of sleeping in the middle of the forest. It is fabulous to have the first view of the forest in the morning. The furnishings are excellent. The bed is incredibly comfortable. We have lacked nothing.
Many thanks dear Aggie, dear Paul and dear Gooseberry, we had a wonderful stay and felt incredibly comfortable.

Amazing trip to Foxfires that I would highly recommend to anyone. We stayed in the Wolf room for 3 nights, which was warm and cosy with great views of the snow covered forest. The bed was also very comfortable and a good size. Everything you would expect was provided (toiletries, towels etc.).
Aggie and Paul were great hosts and nothing was too much trouble. They made us a great breakfast every day with plenty of choice (meats, cheese, granola, waffles, french toast, eggs, fresh orange juice, homemade bilberry juice etc.). We even had a little time to play fetch with Gooseberry.
We visited the spa twice (you need to book in advance), once at night, once during the day and it was exactly as we hoped after seeing all of the picture / videos online. So peaceful and relaxing.
We hired a car and there is free parking. It is a 10 minute drive to Levi village where there is plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. There are also plenty of ski slopes close by.
Overall, it was a great break and if you are thinking of coming, make sure you do, you won’t regret it!

As soon as we arrived at Foxfires, our expectations were surpassed; we landed in a dream, in heaven, in an absolute oasis of magic. The Finnish Spa was the cherry on top and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Walking on the ice cold snow, feeling the fresh air and breeze, then getting warm in the Kota and the Sauna…there was no better way to enjoy the nature and beauty of Levi and Foxfires. We loved every second of it and we made memories which will last a lifetime.
To make our experience even better, Aggie and Paul have provided a bottle of celebratory champagne and fresh water. This is truly an adventure, one unlike any other and Aggie, Paul and Gooseberry 🐾 have thought of every single detail, to ensure their guests receive the very best of treatment. In that moment, we forgot about the whole world and we are definitely going back again 🤍🤍🤍
We also had the privilege to stay for 4 nights in one of the beautiful rooms. That was heaven on earth: A beautiful, cosy, yet luxurious room, with breathtaking views of the towering trees, full of snow, birds and red squirrels. Every morning was a delight to see, every evening felt like a movie and we loved every second spent in there. The room was warm at all times, the tranquility was out of this world, everything was super clean and we were provided with beverages to enjoy during our stay. We had home made breakfast, delicious pancakes, poached eggs and coffee, all of that accompanied by the astonishing views, calming fireplace and the fascinating company of Aggie, Paul and Gooseberry. We felt like home, we felt the warmth and love of the hosts and those 4 days will forever remain in our hearts ❤️ I could write a book about this place and this whole experience, everything was just phenomenal. Thank you from Lukas and Madalina ❤️

Foxfire’s truly is a magical place.
From the moment we arrived at Foxfire’s we instantly felt so welcomed and relaxed. It really was a home from home.
Our room was perfect. It was fully equipped with everything we needed and the under floor heating kept us nice and toasty after a day in the snow. The bed was possibly the comfiest we have ever slept in and the cleanliness couldn’t have been faulted.
Waking up each morning to the snowy views from our glass window was just beautiful.
We were greeted each morning for breakfast by Gooseberry who we loved. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Aggie and Paul.
The homemade breakfast each morning was delicious. From the freshly made coffee and orange juice to the French toast, pancakes and eggs, it was just perfect. There was even homemade granola and jam!
They also had a buffet option laid out with yogurt, cheese, meat and breads etc. Aggie has her own botanical area with plants and other locally sourced products which she welcomed us to try.
We rented a car from Kittilä airport and Foxfire’s was in a perfect location for us and not far from Levi town and all the activities we did.
We enjoyed our first evening in the arctic spa and this was definitely needed after a day of travelling. Aggie met us at the spa and was so informative and definitely explained how to make full use of the spa and then we were left to relax and enjoy the facilities.
From the sauna and hot tub to the little Kota where we toasted marshmallows and cooked sausages it was just perfect. This spa experience really was the perfect end to the day.
We would highly recommend purchasing their E-Book which gives a full guide of in depth knowledge and information of where to visit, where to eat and other vital info. We ate at 3 places they suggested and to their credit, all did justice especially Utsu which was amazing.
Unfortunately we weren’t lucky enough to see the Aurora but this didn’t matter as the holiday was just so magical for us.
We would recommended Foxfire’s to anyone and cannot thank Aggie, Paul and Gooseberry enough for making our trip so special.
See you again soon.

Wow! What an incredible place to stay in the breathtaking lapland forest. A beautiful sumptuous bedroom with large picture windows to view the squirrels and birds that visited us each morning. Paul and Aggie are the most hospitable and kindest hosts you could wish for. They presented us with the most delicious breakfast each morning, eggs, waffles, cheese and ham and fresh fruit and much more. As soon as we entered for breakfast we were greeted by an excitable Gooseberry. We loved him!
The Arctic Spa experience was amazing! We booked 2 evenings and relaxed in the wood fired sauna followed by the hot tub and were in awe of our beautiful, peaceful surroundings. We made 'snow angels' in the snow on the advice of Aggie. Thank you Aggie. We rounded off our spa experience in the Kota cooking sausages and marshmallows over the wood fire. Such fun!
Everything about Foxfires is truly outstanding. We loved every minute of our stay and can't wait to return. Thank you Paul and Aggie. You are just the loveliest people and you made our stay so magical and memorable. We came as guests but I feel we left as friends. An unforgettable experience!
Love to you both and a hug for Gooseberry.

Beautiful property with exquisite attention to detail. Top class pillows and linens, bed felt so luxurious. Breakfast in the main house was a delight, both the food itself and the company. (Note main house not available after breakfast which we appreciated was said up front) Loved the snowshoes we were able to borrow to go for the first time. Also the spa experience was incredible, biggest window I’ve ever seen in a sauna to see natures beauty, then sitting in the hot tub under the northern lights. Wow! Next time I plan to book a sound bath as well.

A must stay and a will return place to be when in Lappland! 6th time in Finnish Lappland and now we found our place of choice for our next 6 times! This owner led boutique hotel is one of a kind- pure relaxation and recharging. The owner prepared breakfast is outstanding. The entire resort is located in a winter wonderland setting surrounded by pure Finnish nature. The two hosts and owners, Paul and Aggie (and their cute little dog Gooseberry) are wonderful people making a stay unforgettable.
