Rooms are a good size with comfortable beds. They need updating though, the interiors are very out dated. We got a room with a sauna but it wasn’t switched on and no instructions were provided. It took hours to heat up by which point it was too late for us to use, we were only staying one night. The room was also in the second floor with a view of the car park. Breakfast was very bland, everything seemed to be watered down and/or lacking flavour. Lunch was the same with a poor selection and bland taste. The a la carte dinner was terrible. Very slow service due to being noticeably short staffed. We ordered a main meal and a dessert. We waited almost two hours in total for these two dishes. When dessert came it was unpalatable and we did not eat it. The waiter removed it from the bill immediately, he didn’t seem surprised. Overall the hotel has a very budget feel to it, without the budget price. Comparable to a large Travelodge. We moved on to the Northern Lights Village, which was beautiful and luxurious. I would spend the extra money and go there.

Had a really good experience staying here as part of a Santa Claus / Inghams package. The hotel was warm and clean. The staff were lovely, helpful, and friendly. We ate in the restaurant as part of the package and the food was nice and plenty of options. Had lunch in the bar one day which was good.

Fabulous four night stay for 5 people in a 2 bedroom luxury chalet apartment. It beautifully appointed and fully equipped with washing machine, fully equipped kitchen, microwave, dishwasher, iron, drying cabinet and small sauna plus pullout or put you up bed in the sitting area. Open plan so still plenty of space plus an enclosed winter balcony and far reaching views of the snowy forests. The hotel staff at checkin were super helpful and friendly. Our reservation gave us full access to the hotel facilities, including the main sauna, bar, restaurant and a daily hot & cold buffet breakfast which was well stocked, represented great value and something for everyone. Unlike some of the reviews we did not find it chaotic. However, it was not half term or Santa Season so there were very few children. The booking also included a cabin lift pass which ran until 11pm every day. Perfect for skiers and non skiers as it was quick and easy to get down to the village shops, bars and restaurants which are close to Zero Point lift station, ski hire shop and ski school. There’s a lovely walk behind the hotel through the trees to the cute Laavu cafe but it’s only open Thursday, Fri & Sat although the walk is still worth doing. There’s also a cool bar/cafe in the exhibition centre serving drinks, cakes and food. Great place to warm up after skiing, sledging or walking. The hotel sky bar was the perfect spot for a late night drink and a game of cards as it stayed open until midnight. I would have given the hotel 5 stars, however it did not have a pool or spa which I would expect in a 4* mountain hotel of this calibre. It only had a dry sauna. There were locker cages for ski gear but these were not big enough for 4 or 5 peoples equipment. There were no boot racks and numerous signs saying don’t take winter sports gear to your room. (This may be different in the main hotel) but the only option was to take the boots and put them in the drying cabinet. I also did not like the fact that you needed a key to access the chalet building, every corridor, lift, boot room and the connecting corridor with the hotel where breakfast was served. Very secure but it felt like a fortress!

Room Tip: Bear in mind the lift can close due to high winds. If you miss the last lift back at 11pm a taxi...

Pleasant hotel but not much more. Disadvantages: you depend on the gondola to go up and down (and, during our stay, it didn't always work because of the wind... the alternative being a 766-step snowy staircase or a cab: 25€ for a mere 10-minute transfer). Another inconvenience: the dinner ending at 8:00 pm! Too early for our liking... By the way, if you don't like fresh cream, you'll have a hard time finding anything to eat... XD For smokers, no relatively sheltered outdoor space. However, the room was spacious, clean and pleasant, with a nice view of the slopes and the right orientation to see the Northern Lights without freezing.

We stayed here to attend a friend's wedding. The reception staff are lovely and check in was smooth. We had a superior room with balcony and drying closet which was well worth the extra! The room was huge, well equipped and the shower powerful. The hairdryer isn't attached to the bathroom on a wire, you can plug it in wherever. Breakfast was great! Breakfast had much more choice than dinner. I felt that dinner was a little lacking in choice and I thought it was strange to have two rows of the same three repeated dishes rather than offer guests more choice of meals. We ate out on a couple of the nights so it wasn't too bad for us but I think I'd have struggled with choice and boredom if we ate at the hotel every evening. The location is stunning. The gondola is super easy to get to travel down into Levi which is a beautiful little village. We ate at the pancake restaurant, Renna the Italian and Lost Tacos Mexican. All amazing meals! We loved Levi and would happily stay here again but probably B&B rather than half board if that were an option.

We have just spent 5 days at this hotel and had a wonderful time. We are a family of vegetarians and was concerned by previous reviews. I was very impressed by the choice. We went half board and took some pot noodles with us as a very last resort! We needn't have bothered though as we all ate something, every day. For breakfast, there was a separate area for spicy vegan sausages and oat milk. This was heaven! Breakfast was decent and the children filled up on cereal, pastries and toast. In the evening there was always a veggie dish. I had cheesy pasta, mac and cheese, tofu and beans, veggie stew, sautéed vegetables, chips and lots of choice from the salad bar. My children mostly ate chip butties and hummus and cucumber and that was fine as they were on holiday! I hope this puts someone's mind at rest. With regards to the hotel, it was fabulous and it offered the best views in Levi. Apart from eating and sleeping, we didn't spend much time in the hotel. We made sure we used the sauna every night (only open 6-10pm) and were surprised that it was empty every time. We thought due to it being Xmas, we might even have to queue. The room itself was fine. I can not imagine having a room which didn't have a drying cupboard though. That thing was magic and I would love to have one in my actual house! We paid extra for a balcony but didn't really use it as it was minus 20! Without hesitation, I would recommend this hotel for all your needs and its perfect location. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights from the slope where the secret café was. Best vantage point!

Don’t stay on the 6th floor at a New Year’s Eve or you’ll find yourself awake until the story hours sleeping (or trying to) under the roof top nightclub. Disaster. Two nights of loud music and even worse as I was poorly and some people on the floor had young families too. TUI did not compensate us at all for this and was not interested at all. Previously stayed at the hotel with no complaints though buffet food is terrible.

We stayed here during our Lapland holiday. IT WAS AMAZING.. We couldn't fault it al all. We stayed in Levi Chalets and the accommodation was spotless. The restaurant food was good and the staff were all lovely. They really couldn't do enough for us.

The hotel and its facilities was nice overall but it felt quite basic for a 4 star. Our room had no temperature controls so we were either too hot or too cold. We paid extra for a junior suit with a sauna and that was a waste of money. The sauna smelt as if the previous occupants had it instead in it and it hadn’t been cleaned so we couldn’t use it, although we did try to suffer it just to get our moneys worth. The beds were super uncomfortable and shake every time you move. Our son had a pull out bed and you could feel all the springs and metal. We constantly heard cleaners and even a member of the reception team say the cleaners didn’t have enough time. Our room was dusty and had someone’s jewellery left in there when we arrived. They seem to tidy more than clean. Plus side a big shout out to Katja in reception. Very friendly and helpful and kind. One of the staff who did always smile. The location was great for ski in ski out, as was the well equipped and heated, spacious boot room. Great views from the buffet restaurant and the common spaces were generally presented nicely. We never had enough toilet roll and had to go and get it for ourselves.

* Pros The views from our junior suite were amazing The general views from slope and free gondola in the later evenings. Comfy bed Spacious room with lots of storage Spotlessly clean Cafe Spiella Walk down the steps to centre Location * Cons Service - I was disappointed with reception on both times I interacted with them. Something that could have been easily fixed (an error by both our travel agent and earlier receptionist) was basically covered up with an inauthentic apology. At the price point of the hotel, I would have expected a better approach/customer service and a more positive resolution. Left a bad taste and didn’t need to. Breakfast was plentiful but so very bland. Not for me, or what I’d expect for the price point. Consequently, did not even try the evening meal (we had paid for half board). I would have liked the choice of sauna or bath in room. I liked the bath but would have preferred a sauna! Opening hours of the main sauna - would have loved an earlier and/or later opening times. Did not manage to try it in 2.5 days! * Overall An average experience but could have been so much better with not much effort.
