It's a family run hotel with 6 rooms. The room we stayed is big enough and comfortable. Car park is at the back and no reservation is needed. Breakfast is good. Wifi is not very stable on my phone but works ok for my wife. Reception is closed during lunch time (11:30-15:30) so don't check in during this time slot.

The set up is very nice speaking of property, style of building etc. However, the room itself was extremely small and very noisy, you will hear all the noise from the guests above you etc. No table, desk, armchairs, no water boiler or tea and coffee making facility, no fridge, etc.. was pretty much nothing to enjoy, pretty smelly blankets...

We were going to stay in a local villa nearby and flight costs meant we came a day early and therefore decided to stay an extra night at this hotel. The instructions supplied made it easy to find but our flight time made for a late arrival. We were met by Nico and a more friendly greeting could not be...

The hotel is very simple and far from Firenze. If you are not renting a car and plan to visit Firenze by public transport, the bus stop is really close, but I recommend guests to go there as soon as possible to check the timetable (probably you'll have to wait a long time between buses on summer holidays). Breakfast is...

This is a great place to stay if you are touring around Tuscany. It is also very close to the Mall, for some nice shopping. The hotel is small, but very comfortable. The rooms are clean, big, and have everything you might need. One small comment is that the Pillows are not great, could be improved. The staff are all...

Nico & Alessandro are wonderful hosts ~ nothing is too much trouble! Food at breakfast and nightly dinner in the restaurant was amazing. The room was clean and comfy and the grounds were meticulous. We stayed 3 nights and I would have gladly stayed another 3. Recommend! Do yourself a favour and enjoy Tenuta il Burchio!

The hotel was just what I was looking for. The surrounding countryside is beautiful. The staff were all welcoming. My room was clean, the food was great. With the help of Nico and Alex, my stay in Italy was great. Not only were they helpful around the hotel, but also helpful in helping me figure out how to get around....

Our family of 5 had the pleasure to spend a night at this super quaint hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and charming. We enjoyed the best meal we had during our 2 weeks in Italy at the restaurant. Very reasonably priced and wonderful. Additionally, it was very close to the Gucci and Prada outlets. I will be back!

The hotel was very quiet and rustic, our room was large and clean and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. Even though we stayed just one night, we felt really at home - they allowed us to check in late and to check out late the following day. I would highly recommend this hotel.
