We booked their executive suite, which was excellent - a large very nicely furnished bedroom, a lovely bathroom with a rolltop bath, plenty of storage, tv and tea/coffee in the room, everything was was very clean and all this...

Hello It was lovely to see you over the weekend and thank you for bringing your friends. I am sorry your Sunday morning breakfast was a little amateurish, the reason for this is that our regular Sunday morning waitress let us down on this morning so we asked our young chalet maids to help, they did there best to help...

Booked a standard room (king size) but was upgraded to the honeymoon suite at no extra cost as they had to shuffle some rooms around. Our room was spacious, clean and very nice. I enjoyed use of the free standing roll top bath. Decor in the room was nice. Good choice of tea and coffee plus extra pots of milk....

A very pleasant venue: great helpful people; comfortable rooms; a really nice bar and restaurant. Food was good and reasonably priced. A bit cold in one of the rooms but it was the coldest night in a decade! Extra bedding was provided immediately!

The Swan is a popular motel/restaurant in Gillingham, about a mile from Beccles. Whereas many local establishments do not serve food on Monday evenings the Gillingham Swan is busy with its well-planned, tasty 2-course menu for £9.95. This represents really good value for money.

Stayed here for two nights whilst visiting family. Hotel was excellent value for money and had two meals (including Sunday carvery) in the restaurant. Room was clean, inviting and comfortable. Central heating was a definite plus. Will definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

Lovely clean, warm room. Nicely decorated shabby chic style & restful - ideal location as evening guests at the White Dove Barns nearby. Very handy having your own kettle with plenty of tea & coffee to hand. Would love to stay again. Stayed in room 14 right at the end - nice & quite.

Went here for a group lunch for which we pre-ordered. My husband and I were first to arrive and went to the bar for a drink. The lady behind the bar was going back and forth and FINALLY spotted us standing there. We eventually got our drinks and then sat outside in the very pleasant patio. Our group turned up...
