Went here for lunch, we were only ones in there which for a Saturday afternoon should have said everything! The pub itself it's beautiful, clean and the girls serving really friendly! We ordered starters which were good. Then we ordered fish and chips , waited ages for it to come though. when It came out fish looked good very sparing on...

it is a beautiful looking pub but we were so very disappointed with the food, I'm not one to leave a bad review but it was really quite awful! We ordered a children's bangers and mash, burger and chips and a scampi and chips. When our meals arrived my daughters plate had 2 sausages, 3 sprouts and 3 hard roast...

Well this was my local once upon a time, I've moved away since and thought it would have been a good place to catch up with our elder family here. Its step free and has good access toilets for disabled users & baby changing so was ideal for all of us. When we arrived we had a table booked by...

Went here for a Sunday dinner for my mum's birthday. Understaffed, one girl behind the bar aswell as being waitress for the entire busy dining room. Four main courses, one of which was only ham egg and chips, took nearly and hour to arrive and was disappointing when it did. By the time we had finished most people had left...

We had an impromptu Friday evening meal with some friends last week and decided to try The Plough as we had not been there before. There were three adults and three teenagers in our party and we were met with a very friendly welcome. The menu looked appetising and as well as having a children's menu, the manager told us...

It took 45 mins to produce a meal which was very poor. Salad was gritty, obviously not washed properly. Liver onions and mash, surely not a difficult dish to cook, was dreadful. Liver tasted as if it had been stewed ,probably murdered in a microwave. There were few diners at the time, yet they could'nt manage. Two couples complained whilst we were...

Stopped at the Plough for dinner without having booked. Had superb evening from start to finish. Attractive bar area, attentive but not over-powering service. Ate in restaurant. Delicious food at exceptionally reasonable prices for an Adnams pub. Can't wait to go again. Kirsty who served us is a real asset to the Plough. Charming, courteous and extremely eager to please...

I went here with my partner and my 1year old son and absolutely loved our evening, the food and staff were outstanding! We've been here twice now within the same month and have recommended it to many of our friends and family! Me and my boyfriend both had the steak and we were not disappointed, cooked how we liked them...

we wished to stay close to Southwold for a concert and the Plough was ideal only being a short distance away - the Staff were 1st class and you had the feeling nothing was too much trouble, would not hesitate to book again when we visit the area, and as we found out the Plough is part of the Adnams...

We drove past this Inn several times while staying in Kessingland. We stopped on 3 occasions - once for lunch; once for a drink; once for breakfast. On none of these occasions was the inn open. The morning we stopped for breakfast (advertised on the roadside sign) at 11am, the door was unlocked. My son opened it, only to be...
