Popped in for Sunday lunch with my daughter. Never been before and hadn't booked - Arriving at 1230 it was a bit quiet compared to other pubs / restaurants in the area. On going inside it's bright and airy with tables around the bar and a separate more 'formal' dining room. We were allowed to sit where we wanted though...

We had a twin room which was adapted for disabled use although we didn't need that. The room was enormous because of that though. Comfy beds and nice bedding. Excellent range of in room tea coffees and snacks and provision of shower gels in bathroom. Nice restaurant and friendly efficient host and staff. Lovely evening meal and great breakfast. Friendly...

Arrived slightly too late for food (served 12pm - 2pm and 6pm - 9pm) but had a lovely pint of Ghost Ship and Southwold. We were looking forward to eating and menu looked delicious so it's on the list of places to return to. Met the friendly owner and his beautiful French bull mastiff. Will return when it's a bit...

I had lunch here with some colleagues. The food was good and well presented. Good pub fare menu choice available. The service was also good. A nice place to stop for lunch. Would call again if in the area.

Stayed last night at The Plough in Wangford as part of Christmas shopping trip to Southwold. The Plough's rooms are a very good size and ensuite good. Service excellent, menu not extensive but steak was perfectly cooked and breakfast was also good. Down points, no shampoo in bathroom or tissues in bedroom and the cleanliness of the room could have...

Called in for lunch. I ordered the chicken balti mainly because it was described as not too spicy. It was actually inedible, very harsh spicing and the chicken so dry and tough you could not put a fork in it. Pity because the place has been nicely refurbished and the bar staff were very nice. They did not charge for...

Stayed at The Plough Inn for 3 nights, what a wonderful place. Staff and manager very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Room was excellent, clean and very spacious. The food was really good and service was quick. Lots of places to visit ranging from 15 - 45 minutes drive. Will definitely be returning.

it is a beautiful looking pub but we were so very disappointed with the food, I'm not one to leave a bad review but it was really quite awful! We ordered a children's bangers and mash, burger and chips and a scampi and chips. When our meals arrived my daughters plate had 2 sausages, 3 sprouts and 3 hard roast...
