The cabins have the worst standard I have ever experienced except for camping cabins. Beautiful view of the parking lot of the supermarket! Not worth your money. Norway has a lot better to offer and I am ashamed that this place takes money of tourist!

we stayed in a traditional log cabin, across the main road from the hotel, where we enjoyed saunas (separate for men & women). Very friendly helpful owner and receptionists. No wifi in the cabins, but wifi at the hotel reception, with deep comfortable armchairs, a good choice of paperback books and board games, and a lovely view of snowy fields... More

We were really pleasantly surprised by this hotel! We were in the area for a short visit to get to know Hemsedal. The receptionist (may also be the owner) greeted us in a very friendly and warm way. Upon arrival, we had a three course dinner. The waiter was also very friendly, and we had interesting discussions on all kinds... More

Stayed at the hotel from thursday-sunday. We all felt very welcome from the begining. Very good service and both bar and dinner facilities were kept open even though it was not within opening hours, just to serve us. There is a convenience store next to the Hotel. It's a 5 minutes drive to Hemsedal ski resort. Taxi fares are about... More

This hotel is located a few miles South of Hemsedal, and feels a bit isolated. A car is a must here. The rooms with a beautiful view over the valley unfortunately also faces the road with a lot of heavy traffic. If silence is an issue for you, ask for a room on the other side of the hotel. You... Off season and excellent, personal service. We were one of only 2 maybe 3 rooms and yet all was as if they were on a normal capacity (in a good way). Room was really nice, shower was awesome. Breakfast was just as big as if the hotel were full. I will make it a point to stay in this hotel... More

We stayed in a double hotel room with own bathroom (room 206, if that helps). The first impression wasn't very good as the building looked old, but we had a very nice stay. The room was relatively big and comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful, and the food very good. It has a sauna and some other services that we... More

We visited this hotel for an overnight stay on our way from Geiranger to Oslo. We found it in a guide book recommending exquisite restaurant. Well, the room was ok (see pictures) but firstly they asked for something like 1900 Nok ! We argued that its completely out of season and ended on 950 Nok. We was curious about the... More
