we had saved our most expensive room choice for Budingen, where the thought of staying in a medieval castle was tantalizing. Recognizing that the age of the facility could have some limitations (i.e. WIFI doesnt travel well thru stone walls...that's understandable), we were dismayed by the cleanliness of the suite where we stayed. The fridge in the kitchen didnt work,... More

Stayed here before catching my flight back to the states. Private parking. In the middle of old town. Complimentary breakfast. Beautiful breakfast room. WIFI is 5 euro. Great restaurants and pubs within walking distance. Spacious rooms.

We booked the room for 5 nights at 125 euros per night, which included breakfast. Our room was a three room suite. We thought it would be in the castle but it was in the adjacent building, which in prior times was the servants quarters. The breakfast was nice and the room clean. The location is excellent for visiting the... More

Stayed a night in this Schlosshotel as part of my sightseeing plans around Frankfurt. I liked that the place all felt and looked very medieval, and there was a sense of oldness as we walked around the town. Rooms are cosy and quaint, but it is absolutely pitch black when night falls. There's no light from the outside, nor are... More

Rooms are not in the castle, but in the servants quarters opposite to the castle. Nonetheless nice rooms in an old building. Quiet location ( no traffic at all, castle clock is heard every 15 min though). Car is parked on private grounds. Dinner is not served since the restaurant closed. Got an evil look from the servant as we... More

This hotel was a pleasant stay in a romantic town. very clean, friendly owners and staff. good food, accomodated our group of 50 well, and had a great birthday there. I would come back anytime for all the personal touches they provided and to see their cute boxer dog! Very nice hotel locally owned and operated.

We stayed here 3 nights in May. If you want quaint, this place is for you but it certainly did not meet my expectation for a "castle" stay. On the plus side, clean comfortable rooms are provided with decor to match the location. The location on the Schloss Ysenberg grounds is quiet and secluded from the noise of the town.... More
