Beautiful newly decorated bunkhouse with 3 really big twin rooms. Facilities are super clean. Best thing was the amazing welcome we got, even though we booked last minute on a Sunday morning. Very friendly phone conversation with the owner and when we arrived he showed us everything and was very helpful. Finally you have got to mention the seaview you...

We stayed for 3 nights in August and I highly recommend this site to anyone. Iain was really helpful when we arrived and help manoeuvre our caravan to ensure we had a fantastic view out to the beautiful bay. The wash block was immaculate and the showers were large and spacious. There was a kitchen area we could have used...

We stayed here for one night and had a great time. We were camping in a tent and had a great pitch looking out to sea. The facilities are fantastic - bunkhouse, brilliant kitchen with cooker, fridge, microwave etc, spacious, clean, warm, powerful showers and drying room. Iain was a lovely host and will collect payment in the evenings! Will...

Stayed in one of the best bunk houses ever. Facilities fantastic, clean and in the most beautiful environment. We had a warm and informative welcome from the owner, and all facilities were way beyond our expectations. The cost was low.

A great campsite with a brilliantly well thought out campers kitchen - perfect for the windy wet days. Good shower block with everything you could want. The site is a little exposed so be careful where you pitch your tent but so are most sites here! Very friendly owners who checked we kept dry - much appreciated.

We are just back from a week staying in the bunkhouse at Moorcroft. What a brilliant place! The house is beautiful and really well equipped, extremely clean and well tended to. The location is perfect for exploring all the islands and really really reasonable for what you get! Iain and Catriona were lovely people and always about to help. We...

What a fabulous oasis on North Uist. Beautifully restored bunkhouse spotlessly clean with all mod cons a family (especially a teenager) requires. We only stayed one night but highly recommend this. Catriona and Iain are wonderfully friendly and obliging. Look forward to returning in the future and maybe staying in one of their new hobbit houses!!

Stayed 2 nights in the Bunkhouse. Good size clean and comfortable rooms. Very clean kitchen and bathroom areas. We had a problem with our van and the owners were very helpful. The cleaner even let us use her phone as none of ours had a signal. Perfect location with access to the sandy beach. Would recommend a stay here.

Great place for tents, caravans, and motorhomes. The facilities are second to none. Wonderful sharing kitchen within a traditional old stone bothy, complete with original pulley for hanging up clothes. Toilets and shower facilities clean and modern. Be prepared for catching the wind though, buckle down and enjoy the view.

“The pitches for tents are good and level. Ask for advice if you want to know something in particular ie: a bit more sheltered. The bunkhouse was fabulous and a bargain at £20 pppn.”
