Each year it is one of the highlights of the year, going to The Hebrides and staying in Bagh Alluin. The perfect place to forget the urban jungle and to find the happiness of nature, hospitality and 'nothing te do". The beaches on Baleshare are unsurpassed quit. The sheep are very communicative. The skies are breathtaking So......we will be back!

Situated right in the middle of Baleshare Bagh Alluin caters to the traveler who seeks solitude. Which North Uist offers in abundance, as it is devoid of any major tourist attraction - that's exactly what makes it such a great place. So if you are content with walking a beach for hours and hours without meeting anyone at all, this...

Unique, fantastic, beautiful, magical - it's all been said before and it is all true. Jac is lovely host with a big warm welcome. We were treated to a wonderful sunset from our room. It is beautiful because it is remote - so think about your evening meal in advance! We brought food and ate in the book - Jac...

Jac is a wonderful host, warm and welcoming...much like his home. The location is ideal with unspoilt views of the surroundings. Floor to ceiling windows make a feature of the incredible landscape, and bring the outdoors inside. Jac's artwork, inspired by the outer hebrides, adorns the walls, and captures the character of the isles perfectly. It is a unique space,...

Jac was a lovely host and his house is wonderful work of architecture, allowing you to take in the unspoilt views whilst lounging in warm and modern comfort. Breakfast was fantastic, loads to choose from. The room was immaculate and had everything you need, plus a bit extra. We would definitely visit again.

Jac is a top class host, his home is beautiful in an amazing part of the world! Spectacular views all around. Great if you want to get away from the hussle and bussle of mainland life!! Delicious breakfast set us up for a day of cycling. A truly special, unique place. Highly recommend. We will be back!

Could you get a better host than Jac? Artist, musician, tour guide, .... a Jac of all trades. A bit isolated but that makes the experience. Large room, nice continental breakfast and plenty of info on what to do on the island. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful creative house with a comfortable, light feel. Interesting and thoughtful, Jac looked after us well. He even got up to see us off on our 6am start to get the first ferry. A fantastic lavish feeling breakfast every morning too. We will be back!

Make sure you get good directions! We found it hard to find; but worth the search. Jac is a fantastic host, the rooms are huge, well appointed, and have great views. He will also help you with booking dinner at a local restaurant but the glass of welcome wine beforehand was most appreciated. Rooms have big well-appointed bathrooms. Everything spotless....
