With big expectations to select a special place for birth- and wedding-day we decided for this resort. Booking was complicated as promotions weren`t given when booking via booking.com. Finally being there the welcome at reception was quite frosty (a little like in too big hotels) The rooms were very nice, the waiters from hungary and slovakia extremely polite and they keep in our best mind. The restaurant has an ambience like sitting in a mensa of a big university. Food is on the same level - no phantasy. Coming after a long hike back an enjoy the spa- the experience in the cellar was also without any emotion. 2 hot saunas - not recreational sauna. In the silence are the installations of the pools are making a permanent uncomfortable noise. Why the heart is missing? We had a great info from our family that 4 weeks too early our daughter got a child. When leaving one day earlier we asked for some discount for leaving and received an answer which we were really not expecting: "There are some more sad reasons to have to leave earlier. A newborn is no reason." Thank you for these clear words. Even since this time I wouldn`t hand over a bonus voucher to anyone. Great mountains arround but no Hotel to feel welcome.

A very warm heating welcome. The rooms are big enough but a bit to warm so the air is very dry. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Breakfast room is huge and everybody can find something. Dinner wqs delicious and our waiter Victor was very nice. Kids club was a hit for the kids amd also the kids pool. Outside area is spacious and you have a lovely view. It is a quiet spot qnd you can enjoy the silence and the mountains.

We stayed at Gradonna resort with our family during summer. It is fair to say that it is one of the best hotel we stayed in in Europe. We really like the design and atmosphere: super modern, wood, stone, concrete and iron materials, and you can see the mountains from basically everywhere inside the hotel. Super cool! A big plus is that the hotel is located at the end of the valley, so it is really really quiet. From there you can start all kinds of activities directly from the hotel. The kids club is clearly worth highlighting. It goes much beyond day care. Kids are entertained ans staff is super friendly. Even if the kids club staff did not speak French, our kids had no issues to have fun with other kids and really enjoyed it. The food is of good quality and quite diverse, without being extraordinary. Yet it clearly does the job and we had pleasure sitting at the table every day. The staff is super friendly and almost gives you want you want before you ask. Quite impressive ! We stayed in the regular room (best to ask for mountains view) and they are big enough for a family of 4 (2 kids of 3/6), with plenty of cupboards to hide your stuff. So in short, go there and enjoy if you like the mountains. But be sure to book early on as it gets full quite fast.

We really loved the hotel. The setting and views are amazing. Staff is very friendly and hour waiter Tamas was absolutely amazing. Room was lovely and the little window enclosure where kids sleep is really cute. Kids club is small but our daughter enjoyed it very much. What we liked is that they go 2x day for a decent walk which is cool. Swimming area is on a smaller side and the water is in my opinion not warm enough. Sauna is pleasant. The highlight was definitely the food, especially the dinners. It’s every time combination of buffet and served meals. It changes every day and the food was consistently impressive. We will definitely come back. Another great thing is that you can hike many places directly from the hotel. So if you choose so you don’t need to drive at all. One big issue to improve - there is no decent coffee in the hotel. It’s all undrinkable (and yes, we are coffee People) but in a top place like this having great coffee should be compulsory. This way, we had no coffee for a week!

This is a great resort in the middle of the mountains with very great view. It's great for the family stay, there is big, great play room, separate poll with slide for kids and separte buffet at dinner for kids. But stil is not regular family hotel with a lot of chaos, because is still very chil and relaxing. Stuff and food was amazing. Only thing that is minus at this resort is that rooms are a little bit cold. Our noses and toes arw cold all the time. We call the reception and they say that this is they avarge temperature. There will be great if they have some eletric radiator for alternativ warming!

The setting in the valley is outstanding - high picks all around and chalets around the hotel look like a village. The buildings are warm, inviting with lots of wood from outside and inside. The same goes for the rooms - top of them are in the tower with fabulous views and first sun beams in the morning. The wellness area is outstanding - world of saunas. The best in winter time is outdoor pool. Heated so I really enjoyed swimming in the middle of snow field... Food is another story - great one as well! The buffet is reach and there are different options on the menu- for vegetarians as well. The rooms are spacious. I liked the most part of the room which is open to the wally with a big glass. So resting on a couch offers spectacular views over the valley. And a special thanks goes to the personnel! All were attentive, professional but relaxed and spoke good English. I just hope to come back some day...

Clean, well designed rooms. The pool was a bit crowded, but the spa area was great. We were there during a heat wave, so the rooms facing the pool were very hot during the day (it did cool down at night though). The breakfast had a huge choice - some of it a bit weird, but still great. Dinner also good. The only possible "complaint" is about it being a rather huge place, so lots of people are coming together at times such as breakfast and dinner, but it never felt cramped or too noisy.
