Myself and 4 friends have just stayed at the odysseus hotel for a week whilst on a girls holiday in kavos and it has been great! For the price we paid we could not complain about the hotel. The maid came to our room everyday to give it a quick clean round ( we were given fresh bedding and towels half way through our stay). The pool was well looked after and clean- each night was closed off and had an electric cleaner inside of it. The bar was great and played music all day- drinks and food were a good price but obviously couldn’t eat your own food round the pool due to tax laws which is completely understandable. When in kavos they turn the water off between 7am and 7pm (what we were told) however we never had any issues when showering and sometimes this was after 7pm. The toilet sometimes stopped for some time but there was the pool toilets to use if needed. When arriving at the hotel we weren’t asked to give passports over or anything like that- we paid €60 euros for aircon( because our was a 2 bed apartment it was €120 all together) €20 for a safe and €10 tax. The hotel is close to everything you could need- shops, bars, restaurants, beach etc. All in all, we had a great stay at the odysseus hotel and for the price we paid we could not complain at all.

We stayed in the Agnes apartments 19th to 27th aug 2022 and paid Β£262 each including baggage and transfers.

The self catering rooms are basic but have everything you need and the beds were comfy. Sheets and towels changed once a week so maybe take a spare towel. Also take toilet roll as you will have to purchase as only one roll provided when you check in and supermarkets unless you drive to Lidl Which is like 20 mins away.

The pool area was clean and plenty of sunbeds all the time any time of day as we would often not be up till past 12 as we was partying on the strip till 5am most nights. Pool bar food was good as well overall.

Location is perfect you can literally walk to the strip in 5 mins.

Atmosphere was great for young group of friends and spiros the bar manager at the pool bar in Agnes apartments made our holiday, he’s a good laugh and hilarious as a DJ, playing banging tunes all day. Lots of banter.

Overall for what we paid it was awesome and had all we needed for a mad week in Kavos.

Tips: if you are going to cook for yourself take some
Of your own food as the supermarkets are expensive and was annoying as felt a bit ripped off at times.

Drinks are mostly €5 a pint of cocktails and the head f pints seriously do exactly that I had 4 and had to go home as was hammered haha.

Don’t let reviews put you off it was good for what we went for a crazy mates holiday in Kavos.

Day trips are expensive but get a quad or buggie for €40
For full day it’s worth it and fun to do, must have a driving licence.

Places to eat out desperados on strip is amazing Mexican and the real Greek was great too!

Located right at the top of the strip, this is the ideal location for party holidays in Kavos. Ideal if you have the Party Hard wristband as it’s really close to Quayside hotel too. Food is really cheap too, €3.50 for a toastie and food served all night which is great if you’re on a budget. The hotel bar is open 24 hours a day. Water sports are available just outside the pool area which leads onto the beach. The rooms are average, and the air con needed to be fixed when we got there but for the price it’s what you expect. Bit of a shame that you have to pay €60 extra for the week to use the air con when it’s not very good quality. Wouldn’t recommend for families or people wanting quieter holidays as it’s definitely got more of a young party crowd and can get loud at night.

It wasn’t worth Β£510 for a week at all, the room was clean but no wi-fi, TV not working, AC was Β£60 extra per week, they didn’t even provide us with even with a soap bar, just toilet rolls, on the pool downstairs they only had 2 umbrellas available for the sunbeds which obviously were always taken, the water in the pool was always nearly boiling even at 10 a.m, I doubt they changed it daily. They claimed our rooms were cleaned daily but it was a lie, some days I came back to the room and no cleaning was done. The beach from this location always had this dry grass / seaweeds on the shore no matter where you go and there were also big patches in the water of it but atleast the water was clear, however not having that turqoise colour like presented in the images. I spoke to other people that were staying here and everyone was complaining about the place. This being said, I’m never coming back here even if someone pays for the whole holiday.

Absolutely awful place I will never return to this or Kavos ever?
Just returned from this awful place.
Our room was dreadful and in dyer need of modernization.
Bathroom sink was hanging off the wall.
Bathroom tap hanging on for dear life. Covered in lyme scale.
Shower? Was a hand held spray if you hung it on the wall fitting there was no pressure so no water?
Toilet wouldn't flush when it did the toilet cistern didn't refill.
Door handles broken and hanging off.
Wardrobe door wouldn't close.
Knobs missing off the drawers.
Light fitting broken.
Cooking facilities were less than basic. Microwave and a dangerous looking 2 ring hob needless to say we didn't use it. And no where to sit if you did choose to eat in your room.
We did speak to reception (which is not on site) and they did send someone to fix?? The Bathroom sink and toilet. Tv didn't work. Wi fi very poor. We did ask to change rooms but were told they were fully booked?
Bar staff very rude.
Tui rep was like the scarlet pimpernel. Never to be found. No welcome meeting. Safe deposit boxes are off site and charged at €20 per week and access is between 7 a.m and 7.00p.m after that your stuffed.
Air conditioning is €60 per week.
And room tax is charged per person which cost us €70 total.
Cleaner did come in most days but did the bear minimum. All in all the place needs condemning.
I would have given 0 star but had to select 1.

Such a lovely stay.
Please don’t believe the pathetic reviews, clearly people had a bad experience and the reviews reflect their whole stay.

The owner- Spiros, wife and son are so friendly and can’t do enough for you.

Bar staff are great, fast service and a choice of so many drinks.

Food at the bar is cheap and so tasty, the chef is always happy to cook anything for everyone.
Full English breakfast, English tea, toasties, baguettes, omelettes, sandwiches, burgers and many more! For as cheap at €3.

Shop onsite just down a street and left, about a 30 second walk. Sell everything you would need-even fresh fruit pots!

Rooms are spacious with working water, storage and hangers. We did bring a bath mat for the floor as shower isn’t in a cubicle so water does come out onto the bathroom floor and around the toilet. Maids to come in daily to empty bin and sweep, sheets were changed midway through the holiday.

Plenty of sun beds around the pool overlooking the sea. The hotel is literally on the beach and has water sports at reasonable prices.

Area is a great location. At the end of the strip but if you go out of the hotel and turn left the strip begins with restaurants with deals like €8 for 2 courses, mix of bars, clubs and pubs.

Scorers sports bar is a 5 minute walk and has large tvs playing all the premier league football.

People here are so friendly. Even the kids on their party holiday are respectful and don’t cause any bother.

Everywhere accepts contactless card payments and no tips are necessary as you always go up to pay your bill.

Can easily do a week here for 2 people with around Β£700.

Lucky lucky men do come in around the pool but don’t hassle you, bracelets are actually worth it!

Tips-
Bring a hand towel (bath towels not changed all week)

Mosquito spray and plug in (bought a plug onsite for €6)

Sliders when getting out the shower as floor can get wet and slippy

hand soap and toilet roll needed- there are 2 rolls for the week but then buy your own but sells in shop onsite

Would 100% return here, had such a laugh.

Thank you Agnes :)

Just returned from a short break in Agnes. We knew we were getting budget accommodation so nothing shocked us and we had only booked to use as a base for a short break. The rooms are small & very basic with a lingering smell. Air conditioning which you have to pay separately for sounded like a motorbike in the room. One very old towel which is supposed to last you your full stay, so don’t expect a face or foot towel. Basic hygiene is not a priority by the priorities obviously as it would mean extra costs in cleaning!! There are notices everywhere telling you everything is chargeable, which I think is a good way of them replacing poor linen as clearly don’t like to spend any more themselves.
Shower is open & drainage poor & kitchen facilities unusable.

The biggest factor that has prompted me to write this review is the state of the pool area. As a parent of 2 daughters aged 19 & 21, I was appalled at the state of what is deemed 3 stars and would be horrified if this is where my daughters stayed!! The water in the pool is cloudy and unsure what bacteria is floating around. Beds appalling in a tatty state and the condition of the cushions made me feel sick. The temperatures were in the high 30s and no umbrellas provided. Nothing like the Tui brochure image.
Biggest concern apart from infections were the health & safety aspect of broken tiles & slats around the pool.
Given that the majority of young people staying there are in Kavos to get drunk & party, a fatal accident in my opinion is waiting to happen.
Tui you honestly have a duty of care to inspect these hotels if you are putting your brand name to them.
Never ever should this be a 3 star. Brochure imagery misleading as looks semi idyllic.
Please Please Please look else where.

The staff couldn't do enough for us. They have been so kind and helpful at every stage of our 11-day stay!
When we have needed anything sorting at all, it's been done so quickly and efficiently.
The staff on the reception desk are amazing, so knowledgeable, so welcoming, and always go the extra mile.

We couldn't be more grateful to the staff for providing us with the best stay at any where on holiday before. Such a personal touch to their service.

Yes, there can be noisy people sometimes, but it's acted on asap. To make sure all people staying are catered too.

Everyone here works so hard, and their work ethic is second to none!

The air con is so good my mum felt the need to put on 5 layers to stay warm the first time we had it on!

The mosquitoes are a bit of a nightmare, but that's just part of the islands charm.

From the Agnes Beach Appartments, we were able to walk from our room to the beach and into the sea in under 3 minutes! The pool is a great size. There is plenty of lounge and chill space.

The rooms have all you need for a comfy stay. Fresh towels once a week, clean and change your bed every day, clean and wash the floors every day, bring toilet rolls, and the cleaners are so friendly and helpful. Even found my lost ring while they tidied.

The rooms have a kettle, plates, knife, fork, spoon, and cups. Microwave, hob, and fridge/ (small) freezer. The mattresses and Pillows are very comfy too!

There are shops for amenities within a couple of minutes walk. Friendly restaurants and souvenirs shops. All in short walking distance. Plenty of activities to take part in around.

We couldn't recommend this place more. It's such a great spot. You will always feel you are of the upmost importance to them.

Stayed in the odysseus for a week from the 11th of September, and after reading some of the reviews on here, I wasn't expecting too much . I was very impressed. We had a 3 bedroom apartment for 4 of us, and all 3 bedrooms were spacious with twin beds, wardrobe, dressing table, side table, and a balcony each. The kitchen was well equipped, although we didn't use it except for brews. There was no front room, which didn't matter as we just sat on one of the balconies, and there was a toilet, shower, and sink in both, continuous hot water more than enough for all 4 of us to shower twice a day! Our room wasn't far from the pool, and the entrance. The pool was lovely and clean, and the 24-hour bar was well stocked . Spirus was the day barman and Nicos the night barman, both lovely guys that look after you. We had breakfast included, which was available 9am until 12pm and was toast, 2 eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, mushrooms, and a hash brown πŸ˜‹. We had a fabulous stay at the odysseus and would highly recommend this hotel. Yes, you pay overnight tax, aircon, and security boxes as you do in all the hotels. It's convenient situated at the bottom of the strip close to everything. Heard people complaining about the Agnes part of the hotel, but our side was beyond perfect and worth much more than the 1 star it has. It was πŸ’― better than the 3 star all-inclusive hotel I stayed in zante earlier in the year !

The apartments are horrible I would not recommend to any one at all.The rooms have 2 single beds instead of a double like we asked and are suppose to have a terrace which we also did not have. Each morning we were woke by the cleaners sitting outside our bedroom door having a cup of coffee and talking at a very high level and would not leave. When they came in to do their job they did not do anything l. We were here for a week and they cleaned our bed sheets once and gave us one towel each. We had to ask for clean towels each time. When finished in the room after doing nothing they sat outside our door talking again and would not leave. We were gave 1 roll of toilet roll to do us for the week and after that you had to buy your own. Air con cost Β£50 to use, safe box Β£20, and the TV (although we didn’t want it) cost and extra charge as well. The place is not good, there are places similar in price that is at a better standard. Do not waste your money here as it is not even close to a three star as stated.
