The rooms are just OK. At least the beds were confortable. The breakfast is quite simple, eggs, bread toast, cofee. The dishes had soap smell. In a nut shell we left the hotel and went and had breakfast in town. The budget spent in a.... let's call it ""sculpture" could have being spent in better amenities, for example, better tables, chairs....
The hotel is simple yet it has a certain charm, the beds were very comfortable, we went during the week so it was very quiet, the staff is friendly and helpful at all times. We used the pool and jacuzzi for a small fee and it was nice, villa de leyva can a bit cold so the fact that the pool is indoors is a good plus. Yes, it is not fancy but is all you need to rest and relax, breakfast was not awesome but we bought additional goodies to complete and they did not mind at all, overall it was just an easy going place with reasonable prices and ammenities.
G'day to all, first I would like to start with the room. It is nearby a pump that kicks on at night at random times so every time i was ready to fall sleep, the bloody pump kick started and woke me up straight away. the rooms were full of mosquitoes and was very difficult for me to fall sleep because of that, my family and i booked a month in advance the room and for us was a big surprise to se we were not located next to each other and instead some in the first and others in the second floor. The restaurant was pretty bad to be honest, no fruit available, only requesting so you would get it, the chairs and tables were plastic ones, I would expect something way better for the price we are paying, and not that, the staff ppl were polite but there was no customer service. Highly disappointed.…
