Sol Mandarina is a wonderful place for those looking for physical and mental relaxation. It is not only a beautiful and very well located place, high in the hills of Villa de Leyva, but it is also very quiet, full of harmony and peace. This is reflected in the construction, decoration and attention by those who work there, especially their owners, who give special attention to all their guests. I could not recommend a better place for those who want to visit Villa de Leyva and at the same time seek to rest pleasantly.

I was there with a group of friends. Everything at the hotel is full of nice details; starting with the way the staff and owners great and treat you! The decor in all common areas and bedrooms is beautiful. The bedroom we had was very spacious and had very comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast. Perfect place for a quiet and relaxing weekend. The view over the valley from the dining-room and terrace is just beautiful. It is not located in the town center but it is about 8 min car ride or a nice 35 minutes walk.

Excellent adults only getaway, it's a few minutes taxi ride to the main square, the views are unbelievable. The staff is very attentive and breakfast is wonderful. This is definitely my go-to place in Villa de Leyva.

We had a great experience staying at this gorgeous boutique hotel. The view is amazing too. We liked everything about Sol Mandarina, the room, the beds are very comfortable, breakfast is delicious, and most of all the service was outstanding! Always prompt to solve any issue, they even gave us a free upgrade since the bed was a little small for us. I would only recommend to have a closed place where guests can sit at a table. We wanted to play cards one night and the only place to do it was outside and it was cold, so we had to go to bed before we wanted to. Apart from that I give a sound 10 to this great place.

The hotel was wonderful. Stunning views of the town from its remote location. This is the perfect hotel to really enjoy being disconnected from it all. Great rooms and a phenomenal breakfast service. Perfect location from which to base your cycling adventures.

One of the best hotels in Villa de Leyva, it is definetely the best example of a Boutique Hotel with the most friendly experience of a homely attention. Rooms are clean and beautiful, great bathrooms and the view is amazing. They only serve breakfast, which is not only tipically colombian but delicious and abundant. Fully recommended!

Away from the noise of the main square, hides this amazing place. We arrived at night was not easy to find however waking up to the view of the valley whilst enjoying a home made breakfast and just walking around the gardens felt very relaxing. Definitely no other place in Villa de Leyva like this one. Before leaving we got a small aloe vera plant as a souvenir. Thought that was very sweet and unique.

My fiancée and I stayed here for three nights and we absolutely loved it. The room was very comfortable with many details that made you feel at home. The food was fantastic, with home made arepas, french pressed coffee and an amazing view for an al fresco breakfast. The owners as well as the staff do everything in their power to make you as comfortable as possible. Absolutely a must when visiting the area!

All I can say is that this place is amazing. Seriously, the food which had things like homemade arepas and as many fresh fruits and vegetables that you could imagine, the rooms which are beautifully made, with every little detail in place, and best of all, the owners who do anything to make your stay even better than imaginable. I cannot recommend it enough!
