I actually didn’t stay here, but they invited their neighbors to join in on their fun. They do weekly activities at the hostal (which looks great). We went for a dinner of Ajiaco...a specialty soup of Bogota. If you came early, you could learn how to make it...then we all sat and ate it..yummy. We then played some card games. They have several special events they host.... Tejo, dancing, and food. Lovely hosts!

I would only stay in this place when I return to Villa de leyva! Pedro is a very helpful and attentive manager. I was very looked after. The bedrooms all have the necessary amenities and the hostel is an amazing to hang out. The hostel is close to all local amenities too.

I stayed 2 days at the hostel and felt like I was at home. I even slept better :) and the ambiance is so good ( We won at billard with Pedro ;) ) Thank you for the warm welcoming ! I definitely recommand Hostel Xué !

We are currently traveling for six weeks so far and this hostel is our favourite! Super social place, passionate owners, fun activities, a lot of spots to chillout. Just perfect! Go there and make sure to stay more than 2 nights... We regret to leave.

We recently stayed here for 3 nights. Our private room with private bathroom was honestly stunning, especially for the price. The hostel is a very large upscale home with two levels. The bottom floor has a family room, kitchen and back covered patio with a pool table/ping pong table. The upstairs is reached from outside and has another very large kitchen, a flatscreen tv with couches and another small third floor for lounging and reading. The front yard had a gazebo area with couches and a hammock and the owners organize activities everyday like family dinner, bonfire with corn on the cob or live music and dancing. There are also mountain bikes and helmets to rent for cheap. The vibe while we were there was very calm and relaxing (like the entire city of Villa De Leyva) and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
