We stayed in a triple room at the Stella Maris B&B for 2 nights, and we wished we had booked for longer. We had a lovely bright room with tea and coffee making facilities. The room was really clean and had everything we needed. We had a large window in our room which had gorgeous views of the sea. There is a shop, takeaway and a couple of bars within walking distance of the b&b. And at the end of the garden, there’s a little walkway leading you to the beach. It’s literally less than a minutes walk from the b&b to the beach. We got a breakfast packed dropped at the door each morning which set us up nicely for the day. The hosts were so accommodating and friendly. Would definitely recommend this b&b and I will definitely be returning in the future.
Stella Maris is a fabulous B&B and we would definitely return next time we visit Achill Island. The location is perfect and it has its own pathway down to the beach. Mary was a fabulous host and took the time to greet us by name every time we spoke to her, also gave some excellent recommendations about eating out. The rooms are immaculate with everything you might need. The complimentary breakfast pack was perfect and we really enjoyed the view from our room out over Keel. We stayed in the Junior Suite which was lovely. Would highly recommend Stella Maris. Thank you Mary!
Stayed with a group of friends hosts were very friendly and helpful! Beach to the back of the bnb was fabulous one of the nicest beaches I’ve been to! Rooms were lovely and Comfortable and had absolutely everything you needed with a fabulous view of the sea! Would definitely return again!
We recently stayed at the Stella Maris B & B on Achill Island for the second time. It was just as we remembered it. Greg & Mary are wonderful hosts and their breakfasts are to die for. Our room overlooked the beach and it was wonderful. We'll ba back again!
Just returned from another fabulous weekend spent at the Stella Maris and once again Mary and Greg provided us another memorable visit. They both could not have done any more to make us so welcome and nothing is too much trouble to them and Mary's Irish breakfasts are to die for. If you have never visited this most beautiful part of the West Coast of Ireland you are missing a fantastic experience and you will not find a better hotel than the Stella Maris. Thanks again Mary and Greg and look forward to seeing you again soon.
