We recently stayed at the Stella Maris B & B on Achill Island for the second time. It was just as we remembered it. Greg & Mary are wonderful hosts and their breakfasts are to die for. Our room overlooked the beach and it was wonderful. We'll ba back again!

Just returned from another fabulous weekend spent at the Stella Maris and once again Mary and Greg provided us another memorable visit. They both could not have done any more to make us so welcome and nothing is too much trouble to them and Mary's Irish breakfasts are to die for. If you have never visited this most beautiful part of the West Coast of Ireland you are missing a fantastic experience and you will not find a better hotel than the Stella Maris. Thanks again Mary and Greg and look forward to seeing you again soon.

From the moment we stepped into Stella Maris and was greeted by name by Clodagh I knew I had made the right choice by selecting Stella Maris to be our home for 4 days. The rooms were very spacious and spotless. The view from our window was outstanding! Breakfast was hot and tasty each morning. The location was great, you could walk to all the local restaurants, shops, and of course the breathe taking beach! I would definitely would recommend staying at Stella Maris to anyone traveling to Achill Island or even near by, it is well worth the journey. Hope to be back one day!

We booked the sea view suite in Stella Maris and it was truly stunning. Clodagh was so welcoming and was very helpful in choosing restaurants near by. The view from the room was out of this world and so relaxing, there are even comfortable armchairs and foot stools to relax and watch the waves roll in. There is access to the beach from the bottom of the garden or Stella Maris so it's ideal. Also in walking distance to the shop, bar & restaurants. I will definitely be back and would love to stay when the weather is wild to sit and look out.
