We booked a family room and decided on this place after seeing good reviews and also finding it the cheapest in an expensive area. The landlady ,Sheila, was very welcoming and friendly and even let us change rooms after we found the original one too small for 3 of us plus luggage. After that she vanished into her area of...

The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. the bathroom even by local standards a bit small. Good reading lamps. No internet in room and marginal in lobby/lounge. We didn't get good information on breakfast and were not happy with the result. Sheila is friendly and helpful. Not higher rating since it lacked spark and memorability. Would return and recommend to...

We really liked the view when parking the car but that was short lived. We were told our room was ready on check in but the surprised to find the bed not made up. The room was spacious enough but the TV positioned behind the bed provides no comfort at all. The breakfast was plain but nice breakfast tea. This...

We were surprised to see that the beds were not made up as we stayed two nights.Tha breakfast was harmless I asked if I could have a tomato with my Irish as I wasn't having bacon and the answer was just no.The T.V in the bedroom was up behind our heads as we lay in bed. I better stop now...

Where do I start, only place left last year for the Scoil Acla, that really should have raised the warning flags, seems to me this place only opens for a few weeks in the summer, run by a middle aged 'grumpy' couple it smelled of damp and fungus no matter how many times we washed our cloths we still couldn't...

We stayed here for a night during August for a charity event in the nearby hotel which was a few mins walk up the road and a few mins down the road is the Annexe bar so a handy location! Our room was lovely and clean and the breakfast was worth the money alone so if your planning a stay...

We checked in to Achill Isle House for two night and stayed three. Nice family home. Our host had a world of knowledge about the island. On her recommendation we drove, hiked, walked around the whole of this wonderful place. Rooms were clean. Our breakfast was a delight each morning and nothing was too much for Shelia.

We spend two nights at Achill Isle House and enjoyed the very friendly hospitality of this B & B. The rooms are rather small but have beautiful views on the Keel beech. If you want to know anything about walks on Achill you are in the house of an experienced tour guide. We really love Achill Island for the nature...

Lovely place. Cheapest B&B we could find in Achill. Within walking distance of the Annex pub. Room was fine and the fantastic breakfast and great service made the stay great value. Will be heading back if I'm ever back on Achill again!
