A nice clean but basic hotel. Room was spacious and a small kitchen was most convenient. Hotel provided milk, kettle etc. so could make own tea/coffee in the room. Breakfast was very good range of things to eat but all cold - would have been nice to see a hot option. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Travelling family; 2 adults and 2 kids (10 and 7 years old). Had family room; small kitchen, 2 big beds and a bunk bed (ideal for kids) and spacious shower room. Location is nice, just 5 minutes car drive from center. Room and hotel was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was good, no warm dishes (however, did not miss them at all). Special thanks to reception as they gave us excellent service regarding the northern ferry line.

Hotel is a couple of miles out of town. Quite a long walk. I needed to make a change to my booking but the manageress was most unhelpful, hiding behind the booking agent and making no effort to help her customers.

I stayed there for two nights. Very friendly staff and good breakfast! I rented a bike and went around the area (which was beautiful) and to the town (less than 10 minutes by bike). It is very clean and has a living room with a nice library! If I ever visit Åland again I will try try to stay there again. Simple, calm and lovely.

A long way out of town Strandnas Hotel has little going for it. The location is anonymous, the rooms bare and spartan and the breakfast average at best. There are far more charming looking options elsewhere in town, so unless Strandnas offers something you cant get elsewhere (price or parking for instance) I wouldn't recommend it.
