Stayed here last July when I walked the Camino. Nice albergue. Very close to the pilgrim's office and the next morning you simply walk out the door and off you go on your Camino. Breakfast the next morning was included. The lady that ran the albergue was very gracious.

Was there first day of the camino. It was good and satisfied the basic needs. On the camino most accommodations are basics. They cater for a huge number of people therfore they offer limited services. I recommend this place.

It was my first time staying in St Jean Pied de Port and I loooovvved staying with Isabel and Alain. They are so warm and welcoming!! Their Albergue is clean comfortable. It is right down the street from the Pilgrims Office; a 2 minute walk. Isabel makes the best homemade bread. With fresh coffee, jam, yogurt, muesli, etc. Yum!!

Allain was wonderful and very helpful. My daughter and I stayed two nights in July 2014 before we set out. We stayed in a bedroom for two. It was very very clean and bathroom was updated. Our breakfast was lovely. There was a computer in the lounge are for us to use.

Massively overpriced in retrospect (only booked here because other hostels/albergues don't advertise online), wifi didn't work at all while I was there, and staff didn't speak any English (only French). There are plenty of other options in town with beds and wifi for as little as 10 euro - no need to book ahead. That said, the staff were very...

The people who run this hostel are lovely and so friendly and helpful. Clean and tidy gite very central with a good breakfast. They have a beautiful dog who is just as friendly as the owners. A very pleasant start to the camino. Would definitely recommend staying here for your first night of the camino. Charming little place.
