We enjoyed the Private Pool for 1/2 hour and it was amazing. The steps lead down to a gate which you lock behind you. You enter, what seems an ancient stone pool in the rainforest, surrounded by trees and bamboo, oblivious to the outside world. The sounds of birds and running water (it's part of a rainforest stream) just sets...

This campsite feels like a hidden locals only gem. It's a little worn around the edges and could do with some scrubbing and major bathroom renovations, but it has a cool vibe of being off the main trail. The private spa was a unique experience. You definitely feel like you are part of a long history of bathers who have...

Stayed one night and parts of the camp were rather run down. We had a campervan on a powered site ($40.00 a night) what we found a little off putting when on holiday was being put amongst what we think were long term residents who were smoking and drinking and wandering around with beer bottles. We're no prudes but felt...

We arrived late after our trip to Hobbiton, and had not pre-booked. We were met by a very friendly host, and given a variety of choices on where to park our car, depending on our needs. It was slightly out of season, so not very crowded. The fascilities were alright, the showers and toilets worn out, but fairly clean. The...

Vanessa was very helpful throughout our stay. The place was clean, warm and had everything you could need. The changing rooms for the pool could do with being done up, but other than that they were brilliant.

The family cabins have been upgraded they are so much better than before. Have been coming here with my children for years. It was in desparate need of an upgrade. Makes the place a whole lot better. Only downside is that internet connect because they are down in a valley is not good.

We booked two nights at Opal Hot Springs & Holiday Park in a three bedroom family room. When we saw the price of $107 for 3 adults and a child we thought "Oh well, we just have to sleep there. No matter what its like it will be fine for 2 nights" On arrival the reception staff were friendly and...

This is a place you would go to for the hot pools nothing else, as there is not much else for you. the facilities have not been upgraded for a long time. the showers are near the kitchen and are completely separate to the toilet block so everyone near the kitchen can hear your shower not great at certain times....

I came down with my family last weekend and we absolutely enjoyed it. We had six adults and our own kitchen and bathroom facilities, just like a home away from home. Warm and cosy to beat the spring breeze from winter. Hot pools to suit every fussy person in our family. No reception which meant we had to talk to...

Six adults meant five beds and at least one of those a queen. Rare to find accommodation that can house this many adults in one place at a reasonable cost. OHS&HP does. Internet available if you wanted to pay extra but it was a marvelous opportunity to enjoy uninterrupted time with family and friends. OHS&HP offers. It was the little...
