We spent 4 days at this campground, it was a last-minute reservation and after reading reviews we didn't have great expectations... but we were pleasantly surprised! The staff at the reception were very nice, polite and efficient. We had a guy take us to our tent cyprus, and everything was clean and well stocked. We had 2 sanitary blocks next to us and both were clean (yes no toilet paper or seats, but this is pretty much in all french campgrounds). We visited in the last week of school holidays so there were no animations so the campground was quiet. The pool was a bit cold (probably due to the change in temperature) and the kids loved the waterslides (yes they were finished) and the beach on the river was clean with bins in place. I can see that with a lot more people, animations and the construction of the waterslides how it could've been much more chaotic, but that is to be expected in the busy weeks of school holidays. I'd say that they are trying to become 4-stars with all the changes that have been implemented as there seemed to be a lot of recently built/changed things. The only negative thing i could say was that they shut the superette (due to the staff member not showing up) and didn't put a sign up to let us know. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this campground to other families.

We stayed for 7 days. Staff at reception were pleasant and spoke English for us. Pitch was ok but quite uneven for our caravan but we managed. Was close to the river but a hike to the shower facilities. They were clean but without toilet paper or toilet seats...almost standard in France. The swimming pool was closed between 13:00-14:30 due to a “lunch break” and also closed at 19:00. It was still 30+ degrees at 19:00 and a cool dip would have been nice. Felt that more staff could have helped with that situation. Overall stay was enjoyable and we would recommend as a great place for kids and families.

I've been staying in different campings for ten years now. Always in a mobile home. And this is the first time I really feel like complaining. I had read here that it was a calm camping with 11pm curfew for peace and quiet. Boy was I wrong to believe this! Three times a week the party went well and loud almost till midnight. They had mighty amount of decibells at their disposal!! Then a bit of time for rest and around 10am all starts over - for water gymnastics, I believe. I never ever heard a neighbour (who are not that far, but that did not bother at all), but their 'animation' was all over the place all the time. Truly truly annoying. Another annoyance: short opening times of the pool. It only opened at 10.30 pm, then took a break a lunch and closed altogether 7pm - in a French manner, which means the cleaning lady could call it a day at 7pm, the swimmers had to be leave the pool 10 or even 15 minutes before that. Their shop was a true joke, you could not find anything useful other than a baguette from there. What was good? Table tennis equipment. Location straight on the river. Nice pool. Did all this spoil my vacation? No. But I've seen so much better, that in my eyes they deserve no praise whatsoever.
