Had a wonderful vacation stay at Salines Garden. The host Jean-Phillipe met us at the airport and assisted with our rental car. Each morning we had a delightful breakfast of breads and pastries. Jean- Phillipe and his lovely wife were gracious in recommendations of activities and meals and made contacts and reservations on our behalf. The 5 rooms in the...

We read the reviews before going - wasn't sure if it would live up to them, but it surpassed all expectations. Owners Jean-Phillipe and wife Laurence were lovely, met us at the dock so no taxi required and made us feel welcome from the outset. It's a bit out of the way, better if you have a car to explore...

This was my first trip to St Barts and I wasn't sure exactly what to expect. From everything I had read, St Barts seemed like it might be a little bit like Monte Carlo meets Miami Beach. While I'm sure it's possible to find that St Barts the one I discovered was far more wonderful and unique than all the...

We loved the experience and will repeat for sure. The hotel is close from salines beach, one of several wondeful beaches of Saint Barth. It has a beautiful green area with a lovely pool. The breakfast is modest indeed but the charming and friendly ambience worth it. The roon had a good size and was confortable. It's a place for...

Hey everybody, please stop telling everybody about how great Salines Garden Cottages is! I was hoping to keep it our little secret place on St. Bart. The island is so expensive and here is the great reasonably priced little getaway with rock formation views, a shared pool, run by a cool former surfing champion, just down the road from the...

This is a very charming group of cottages surrounded by lush plants and bougainvilleas. The value is excellent. However, the owner, Jean-Phillipe can be quite overwhelming with his monologues, morning and cocktail time. He does not let anyone else say a word and he is very opinionated: from gossip about the rich and famous to a very insensitive anti-American stance....

Our good experience with Salines Garden started from the point of booking. Following a mix-up with the flight booking (leading us to arrive in St Barts on a day when the hotel was full) the owners were able to arrange alternative accommodation for our first night. On top of that, they offered to meet us at the airport. Salines Garden...

Just returned from a relaxing 3-night stay at Salines Garden Cottages with my wife. We found Jean-philippe to be VERY helpful from the time he met us at the Gustavia dock until our departure. He assisted us in obtaining a rental car (essential for your stay) and offered various tidbits of local knowledge that we found helpful in exploring the...

Alternate Title: "Tranquil, chic & rustic oasis ... & Best Price on St. B!" This place is really a find ... how did i not know of it during previous trips to St. Barths? I took a very last-minute and quick trip there just before Thanksgiving and i had to really scramble to get rooms. So i stayed at an...
