4 of us stayed here mid October for 3 nights. Rooms are clean and also cleaned daily with fresh bedding and towels. The owner was very helpful and arranged onward transport for us and day trips. It's a short walk off the main road which keeps the noise down at night but close enough to be near it. Would certainly...

The hosts are called penzy and David, they are very nice people and make you feel welcome from the start of your stay. They are very helpful if you want to do activities or day trips and will organise it for you! The rooms are very clean and offer everything you need plus a DVD player! Really great place for...

Stayed here for five nights in july. Nice and clean rooms. Penzy and her husband, David are happy to help you with everything, specially booking tours and boattickets. The hotel is walking distance to almost everything. The greek restaurant "olive tree" is ten meters away, which you should deffinetly try, great food. Also, five minutes to the beautiful Chaweng Beach!...

I stayed here for 3 nights with a friend as we travelled through the Thai islands and we had a great time. The guesthouse, as the name suggests, is very homely in nature, but what truly makes this guesthouse special is the fact that both Penzy and David are warm, welcoming and helpful. We decided to book multiple daytime activities...

Excellent guesthouse run by a lovely couple. It is clean and quiet. Just a two minute walk to the beach. 20 minute walk to the bars (or a short cab ride). Lots of restaurants nearby as well. The owners were very helpful in organizing tours for us and in organizing our departure to URT. I would definitely stay here again!...

My cousin and I decided to stay here based on trip advisor reviews and I must say that it definitely lived up to the high ratings! We had a lovely stay, especially cos the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. David bought us the nicest fresh coconut ice cream - highly recommended! The rooms are pretty basic but extremely clean....

Lovely staff and family atmosphere, although stairs... omg stairs, so many stairs... Close to Chaweng beach and associated restaurants, nightmarket also closeby, as well as any sort of tour or daytrip that might interest you. The owner (Penzy) is clearly revered in the area and any trip or deal that takes your fancy is reported to be subject to a...

We stayed at Penzies based on the reviews we read. If you are looking for a guesthouse this is a great choice. We saw lots of young people coming to seek a room, but alas they were full, often with repeat visitors it seemed. Rooms are clean. Free coffee, tea 24/7. Penzy makes You feel like family, she is very...

This is my first review and sadly it's not a good one. Koh Samui is my last place before my flight home, wanted a little comfort for the 1200 per night I paid which in Thai terms is fairly substantial. I've had beach bungalows for this with stunning views. Room was pokey with window looking out onto someone's landing and...

Most of the people we can please, but there is always that 1% won’t be pleased. I knew I was on your bad side when I pronounced your first name as it is written (and normally pronounced) and you not so happily stressed more than once that the vowel is a long ‘A’ sound and not a short ‘A’ sound....

We had a very comfortable stay here and for a very good price. The main thing for me is that it was very quiet. We stayed on the 3rd floor with the balcony overlooking a field. The rooms were cleaned everyday, they had everything we needed (except maybe come glasses to have drinks in) The staff were helpful and friendly...
