Dated and in need for an update and thats what they are doing.... but things will not be finished for a few months yet. When we were there they were building a big new pool and new rooms near this pool, which will be great later in the year, or early 2009, but right now you have to virtually walk...

Perfect beachfront location, friendly staff and clean rooms. Very nice restaurant facing the street with excellent seafood. Breakfast buffet not so nice. Decent, informal lunch restaurant/bar at the beachside (but not the fastest waiters). Rooms are ok (three types), with a/c, TV (with BBC, CNN etc), refrigiator. Bathrooms ok, but not more than 2*-hotel standard (but still with hot&cold water)....

Good central location. A/C standard wooden bungalow. Split level with beds upstairs. Bit dark inside. Balcony not great for sitting out on - the more expensive garden view bungalows would probably be better. Breakfast included - adequate but nothing special.

We found this hotel by walking the beach after being disappointed with some bungalows up further north and the polution on the beaches there. We stayed here in November of 2005 it should be noted We liked the location lots of grocery and convient stores near by, bars shopping etc and the room was very clean and secure. The staff...

I really loved my stay here. Breakfast is nice, excellent location, rooms were clean and bed comfy. The only negative thing I can say about this place is the sea which isnt good for swimmingat all , the pool isn't very big either. But if you wanna go for a swim you could walk along the beach for a couple...

I stayed at Chaweng Villa Beach Resort at the end of a 2 week holiday in Thailand and unfortunately it was the worst hotel of the trip. It wasn't because it was awful, but more because the rest of the hotels were so good. Which makes me think that the Chaweng Beach area of Koh Samui probably has some much...

The split-level bungalow was awfull. It looked like a garden shed with an upstairs added. The final straw was when I noticed that I could see daylight through the walls, there were holes in the thin wooden panelling. This and the fact that the windows didn’t close properly probably accounted for the room being full of mosquitoes. We went to...

The bathroom...

After reading several reviews on this hotel we decided to book it for 3 nights. In hindsight I would of rather stayed at another hotel with better facilties on the same stretch of Chaweng beach. The pool is tiny and cold, theres not enough beach chairs, no wait staff for drink orders. Just a shabby 2-3 star property. The one...

Myself and fiancé stayed at the Hotel for 15 nights. We staying in one of the Deluxe Bungalows. No way was this deluxe. I don't even think it was standard. As soon as I walked into the room you could smell the damp and mould. The bathroom was not much better. It was practically falling apart. We did not make...

“For 200 Bhat more/night you can get a deluxe bungalow and be closer to the beach. Make sure you get a discount on the rate as they had a lot of empty rooms when we checked in. We got 600 Bhat/night knocked off the reg rate of our room.”

“The deluxe building rooms have large sliding glass doors, so particularly in the downstairs room s you can see straight into them with the curtains open. the plus side is, the rooms all get a lot of light.”

“Try the lower number bungalows, they are close to the pool and the beach and the quietest. The good beach is 500 m or less from this hotel, but no biggie. The bad beach makes it quiet.”
