This place is pretty run down and tired. For the money you pay (during peak season anyway) it's definitely not worth it, as there are MANY other choices, even if you don't see them all online. As some others have stated, this place needs a good refinishing/remodeling/repairing. I don't think the owner has put any money into it in years....

Stayed in one of the split level wooden rooms. Not sound proof. Heard a trashy British couple screaming at each other through the walls every night. Beach life at night is great. Pool is right on the beach. Fat tattooed Euro-trash getting pissed everyday at the pool and constanly screaming at their kids. Went to a different hotel's pool everyday....

I've stood there2 times before and this last visit was the least enjoyable. The place was looking kind of runned down. The best thing is the location which is right on the beach within walking distance to all the clubs and restaruants. The rooms are very average for the price range, and the food was also very average as well....

This is my 7th trip to Thailand and my 4th to Samui where I've stayed in hotels and guestrooms between 450 and up to 15 000 THB a night. So far I can say that this hotel is the WORST I have ever experienced! At first was the bungalow I've booked (wooden level) beneath all standards and looks nothing like...

First of all let me reassure everybody that both my fiancee and I are not strangers to 2 and 3 star accomodation, however we are compelled to document our stay at the Chaweng Villa Beach Resort to prevent the anybody else suffering the same poor service and completely inadequate offering in terms of accomodation. We arrived and checked in and...

We stayed at this Hotel several times before and loved it. Unfortunately, the new owner completely changed everything that was nice about this place - particularly the staff. As I learned during our stay almost all of the former staff including the former manager left the Hotel. The new staff could not care less about the Hotel and the guests,...

“For 200 Bhat more/night you can get a deluxe bungalow and be closer to the beach. Make sure you get a discount on the rate as they had a lot of empty rooms when we checked in. We got 600 Bhat/night knocked off the reg rate of our room.”

“The deluxe building rooms have large sliding glass doors, so particularly in the downstairs room s you can see straight into them with the curtains open. the plus side is, the rooms all get a lot of light.”

“Try the lower number bungalows, they are close to the pool and the beach and the quietest. The good beach is 500 m or less from this hotel, but no biggie. The bad beach makes it quiet.”
