The staff at the Old Hall made oyr special day all the more special. They couldn't have been more helpful or accimmodating. The food was out of this world and the table was beautifully decorated. Our wedding was a tiny one but the staff trully made me feel like a bride. The room was roomy, warm, clean and beautifully decorated...

Took my mum for afternoon tea for her birthday, beautiful place very nice chilled atmosphere. Afternoon tea was lovely nice mix of finger sandwiches, mini cakes and scones. Lovely coffee too. Maybe a little expensive but worth it for the birthday girl

I've now stayed at the Old Hall twice, which says a lot. It's a lovely old building. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms have been clean and well equipped. On-street parking is free right outside. There's a great selection of pubs, restaurants and shops very close by. Breakfast is lovely and plentiful. To top it all off the...

Weekend stay with the intention of going into Chester via the train (2 stops ) The staff are very welcoming, prompt bar service and very helpful all round. They even opened up the lovely back garden for us to sit and enjoy a quiet drink late on in the evening when we asked. ( My wife is a smoker and...

We arrived early, but this was no problem and our room was available. It was at the front of the old building, large enough to have the usual furniture plus a sofa and an armchair, very comfortable. The bathroom was quirky, up 2 steps and through a narrow door.fine for us but could be an issue for some people. A...

We picked this over a premier inn and was pleased with the choice. On arrival an inviting open fire roaring away simply magnetised one. Rooms are ok and every effort is made whilst balancing cost it would seem but that's not a negative comment. Staff were most keen to make one comfortable but were rather lean on numbers but none...

I booked a single en-suite room with a double bed. Its been 26 years since I last stayed and it hasn't really changed. Warm welcome from staff, room clean and comfortable, bathroom modern addition and very clean with lovely soft towel. They do provide limited toiletries and you can stay cheaper not too far away but you wouldn't get the atmosphere...

Came here for Sunday lunch with the whole family for a special 70th birthday. Location was fab. Service was fab. Table was amazing right in front of the patio leading into the garden. Most of the party had a roast which were amazing and finished off by all. The staff even went completely off menu on request for the kids...

Since moving part-time to live in Frodsham I've been looking for a place to have a coffee or lunch with my dog Flo after our walk. This proved a little difficult until I popped my head round the door of the Old Hall Hotel. 'Can I bring my dog in here?' I asked. 'No problem' was the reply. Since then I...
