I stayed at the Hotel Louis for 2 nights with my two young children and needed a good value hotel with parking, near to the airport, and with good transport links to the centre of Rome. This hotel was perfect for this and I'd really recommend it. Good breakfast included (cereal, pastries, yoghurt, fruit) . Rooms were pleasant and clean...

Family owned hotel. Looking like to be host in a friendly home more than to stay in a Hotel. Really close to the Airport in a quite and calm narrow street. Ciampino is everything but a touristic place but is really close to Rome and to the beautiful area called "Castelli". Nice and clean rooms, good price, don't hesitate to...

A small family run hotel, in a former residential building, it seems. The rooms are nice, as is the bed and shower. Breakfast could be a little bit more to choose from, and the owners presume you will always have coffee and croissants. The only other things are yogurt and cereal. But in the end a very pleasant stay. I...

We stayed in this small hotel twice and the frist time the hotel staff (run by a family Mother ,Father son and daughter) were a little stand offish in Europe the people are often like this.,but the second time they were pleasent. This hotel is located outside of rome in a small town called Campino it was an old army base...

We stayed at Hotel Louis II as we had an early start for Le Marche next day and did not want to trek out of central Rome. It is quiet and comfortable, with an OK breakfast and polite staff. Rooms were dull but we slept well. It looks like a large private house. It is not easy to find in...

The Hotel Louis 11 is located in Campino. 500 metres from the local railway station, which provides for a 15min train trip into Rome Termini at only 2.20euros return. A shuttle bus from the local railway station to Campino airport costs only 1 euro. The Hotel is in a very quiet street and is a splendid refuge after the hustle...

I booked this hotel because any hotel-booking website shows it includes breakfast in the morning. They claimed that because I got a discounted rate, I had to pay additional for breakfast for everyone in my family. When I arrived to town, it was hard to find. I had to pay an extra rate to the taxi because the hotel is...

Very welcoming hotel in the heart of the Ciampino. Excellent trainconnection to the Rome city center. Perfekt for a family with the kids. Airportshuttle not free but very easily organized by personnel.

I booked this hotel as it was in a convenient location and price band. Positives: Amazing friendly service, secure gated property, clean & functional rooms, only 10 minute walk to the train station and a €30 cab (max) from Ciampino airport. Good shower (v. important!) Fair value for the price we paid. Negatives: Breakfast is cereal and a croissant -...

My family of four drove to Rome to meet some friends in June 2007. Against better judgement and advice, we had taken a stab at driving through Florence to reach our hotel. While there were no problems, I did not intend to repeat my performance in Rome, so we choose a hotel outside the city center. Hotel Louis II seemed...
