Detailed Reviews
We stayed in Nad Przełomem for one night at the beginning of june 2019. As the hotel - possibly the only such place in this part of Pieniny mountains - was ful, we were offered a stay not in the main building, but in house-like building just over the road, with pizza place at the front, not marked in any way that it is a part of Nad Przełomem. Entrance to accommodation part through the back door, but then the staircase to bedrooms is also used by pizza place guests as a link to toilets, so guests of both places would've mixed together despite efforts. Room was quite large and quiet, considering the food place downstairs. Wifi really weak. Breakfast served in main hotel building, in the restaurant, which becomes very busy during the breakfast times, luckily we had very nice weather during our stay, so outdoor seats became very popular, mainly due to the restaurant being very very hot, with no aircon (or at least it didn't work). Never had a chance to try their leisure part, with swimming pool, maybe next time. Possibly best place to stay for miles.

This is a first class hotel, the staff are what makes it work, they are outgoing & very helpful, my very limited polish vocabulary, lovely blonde staff "wish I had written her name down" walk with me next door to order my rafting trip for our party! The hotel has a wonderful breakfast buffet,it has all the fixings you would expect & a few polish traditions, the view of the river & mountains are top notch & proximity to trails & bike paths are great "they rent mountain bikes" we also rode them to the bridge which takes you to Slovakia, this takes you to a very old lovely monastery, the hotel also has a nice sized swimming pool & spa, this is a place to get away from the city, to relax & coming from the states I thoroughly enjoyed it, would say this is far superior to most hotels you find in large cities, I would just like to say again, thank you to the staff & much luck in the future I do hope to visit again!

We stayed in this hotel for three nights. It was spotlessly clean, the staff were more than helpful. They even came on duty early on the day of our departure to provide us with breakfast when we had only asked for a cup of tea. The food was delicious and cooked to order. The pricing was very reasonable.
The surrounding area was beautifull and there is plenty to do. The mountain just waits to be climbed, we went on the easy route. The view from the top is incredible.
The rafting is fun too. We plan to return one day in the near future.

From the moment we checked in until we left, we greatly enjoyed our 3 night stay here as part of a snowshoeing trip which we arranged ourselves. The hotel, built on the bank of the River Dunajec, is perfectly sited close to lots of suitable trails including one that took us to the top of the impressive Trzy Korony nearby. Our spacious room had two levels: the downstairs part was a lounge area with sofa (that could be made into a bed), chairs, table, TV and fridge, while the upstairs part, accessed by a wooden stairway, accommodated a double bed and bedside tables. The room which had top hung windows offering good views of the snowy countryside, was spotlessly clean and beautifully appointed and the bathroom was particularly good, nice and warm with a spacious power shower and marble fittings.
The restaurant was excellent and offered a lovely range of traditional Polish dishes and the drinks' list was also impressive, particularly the range of different vodkas! For non Polish speakers like us, the bar staff were only too delighted to explain the difference between the flavours! After a long snowshoe, it was wonderful to return to the warm bar for a mulled wine, which is the best I've ever tasted. Breakfast was extensive with lots of choice and good coffee. We were impressed too by the standard of the communal areas, particularly the toilets which were scrupulously clean, with eye-catching marble fittings and nice touches such as fresh flowers. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel where you will experience the very best Polish hospitality.

Stayed over for one night - the only night we had not booked lodging in advance. As we planned rafting on the Dunajec river the next morning at Cerveng Klastor and couldn't find a local hotel we crossed to the Polish side where we found the Nad hotel. A great place to stay. Nice, clean, generous, distinguished attitude and welcoming atmosphere. Plus, good breakfast and a reasonably sized indoor swimming pool suitable for decent lap swimming. All at a very reasonable fee.
Another advantage - the hotel is located on the river bank and rafting can be taken at the place itself reducing the overall logistics overhead to minimum.
Bottom line - excellent place. Warmly recommended.

What could be better than having a clean room with good quality furniture and a balcony overlooking the river and the mountains of Poland and Slovakia. The menu was varied and the food excellent quality.
Relaxing and enjoying the sun in the garden whilst enjoying a Polish beer.
Also next door you can get a ticket for the rafting experience which should not be missed.
Spent 5 relaxing days there and will be sure to return next year

Trzy Korony (Three Crowns) is a famous Polish summit of a massif in the Pieniny range within a walking distance from the hotel, The rooms are very comfortable, cuisine - home-like with a fantastic variety (eg for breakfast you can choose from 10 different kinds of fruit) so delicious regional dishes are very popular (also a buffet for children). You may taste regional preservatives before you buy them later on which is a very good idea - you know exactly what you're buying. Meal times very flexible, dinner from 3pm to 7pm so you decide when you come and you may fit it with your plan of trips (half day or whole day). SPA is available every day with a pool, jaccuzi, and Creme Bar and many more. Many games for everybody, a playground for the kids and a garden designed for families. Evening folk music and grill every second day. Weather permitting there is an in-door and our-door dining room. The Dunajec punting / rafting stop is at the foot of the hotel, and the ticket office easy to find. Next door you may hire a bike for an hour or so, riding to Szczawnica and leaving the bike also possible. Last but not least - leaving the hotel the guests are presented with a small, lovely gift, homemade again. Even if somebody is not fully satisfied (which seems unlikely) this custom is just charming. Thank you - we loved it!

We also stayed at the Nad Przelomem for one night, having hiked there from Velky Lipnik and hiking from there the next day to Szczawnica. Check-in was efficient and the rooms were fine with balconies and a view over the garden to the river. Breakfast was acceptable but the buffet dinner was disappointing in both range and quality. Nobody seemed to be drinking beer or wine with their dinner and it was not obvious whether they were on offer. if I return I will try the Italian restaurant across the road.

We stayed at the Nad Przelomem for 1 night, having hiked there from Velky Lipnik and hiking from there the next day to Szczawnica. The hotel has everything you need: friendly staff at the reception, spacious comfy rooms, an indoor swimming pool, a garden and terrace near the river and sumptuous (and delicious) breakfast and dinner buffets. The reason why I don't give a perfect score is that you have to be aware that, because this is a perfect hotel for families with (small) children, there's always a busy buzz around the premises. However, this is not the hotel's fault and if I had been there 8 years ago, I would have been perfectly happy with my sons (who are now 16 and 18).
