Not sure how to review this. It's not quite a B&B nor yet a Gite............. We have just stayed for 4 days at this lovely house where we were made most welcome. We stayed in the Rose room which was lovely, again, all as mentioned but just not quite......... the kitchenette is a separate room downstairs & outside. My problem... More

We were guests in the Tomettes suite. First impressions of the Manoir were pleasing. There are some stunning picturesque features on the outer facade and far reaching views of the surrounding countryside. The room itself is quaint, spacious and appealing, also triple aspect. The Gite is ideally situated for a comfortable walk into Argentan which is a pleasant town with... More

To stay at Manoir de Coulandon is to travel back in time when life was simple and a pleasurable bed, a delicious meal, and good company were all that you needed. Our hosts, Annie and Patrick, continued to delight an amaze us during our stay. If you stay take advantage of their offer of dinner. We had fish, snails from... More

We were a group of 7 guys cycling from Dieppe to Angers and were looking for place to stay on route. Could not recommend the Manoir de Coulandon highly enough. Patrick and Annie made us more than welcome with a dinner of snails and other local produce. The calvados did not help the cycling the next day !!!!. Our only... More

One of the most delightful places I've ever stayed. Old farmhouse beautifully restored by Patrick and decorated in French provincial style with Annie's flair. Welcoming, friendly, comfortable, in lovely garden in peaceful rural setting, yet near Argentan. Dinner and breakfast excellent, with the emphasis on local Normandy produce, the Manoir's own kitchen garden, Annie's delicious cooking and her own specialities,... More

We stayed here for one night on a cycling trip around Normandy. Initially the place was quite hard to find as there is no sign on the road, however, after asking some locals we found it and were delighted with the beautiful old building. Our room was on the ground floor and was beautiful, as was the en-suite. We even... More

We have just stayed here for two nights. Our room was beautiful with great views of surrounding countryside. The breakfast was ok but after a week in france I'm getting a bit bored of bread... Lovely gardens...we managed ok even though the hosts do not speak any English.

This is a quaint farmhouse set in rural France and it does not fail to deliver on the rustic charm. We were met by our warm and friendly host (who does not speak English but this does not detract from the hospitality in anyway) and shown to our room. The view from the window was from a picture postcard, out... More

The manoir de Coulandon is a marvelously restored 15th century farmhouse in lovely and quiet surroundings (though very close to Argentan). The hosts are charming, very helpful, and make you feel at home... We stayed in the "Chambre Rose", a spacious and beautifully decorated room. The bed is extremely comfortable, and the superb bathroom has all the modern necessities. Breakfast... More
