beautiful stay in a castle with attentive staff! stayed here for 2 nights as a jumping-off point for verdon gorge, and found it absolutely magical. well-located in relation to the gorge, just a short drive from many hiking opportunities, and the view from the top is fabulous. bedrooms and common areas are all appointed with period furniture, but bathrooms are...

It was a lucky choice in an area where there mainly b&b campings . Upgraded room with breakfast for 2 at 120 euros which you would pay for a chaon hotel in a big city. The restaurant is outstanding with an excellent choice of wines mostly alas out of my reach. We nevertheless founfd an excellent puilly fusse at 36...

We surprised our friend (who loves castles) with a stay at the Chateau as we were touring through the Gorge de Verdon. The surprise did not disappoint! All three of us were ecstatic to stay in a castle. We had room #5 which was roomy enough for an additional roll away bed since we were three people. To top it...

Château de Trigance We stayed for one night at the château. It is one experience you never forget. We had bedroom/suite #1. The room is spacious the view on the valley is breathtaking. There is no AC but you can sleep with the windows open and get a great breeze even if during the day it was 95 degrees. The...

I would thoroughly recommend the Chateau to anyone visiting the Gorges du Verdon. We arrived a day late, purely my mistake and the owner was absolutely charming about it. The views from the Chateau from the ramparts towards the gorge are breathtaking. We ate there in the evening and the meal and atmosphere inside are amazing. We also saw a...

Such a wonderful memorable and special place, very unique. Stayed 2 nights with a family of four, well travelled kids that loved the place and the atmosphere. Big rooms, amazing views exactly like the other comments. Food tends to be on the pricy side but the atmosphere worth it all.

I agree with other reviewers: Great location, amazing view, friendly staff, and you sleep in a small but beautifully restored castle. For all those reasons, I recommend it. However, be aware of the following: - If most of your activities are in the "Gorge du Verdon", it's going to be a lot of driving through tortuous, windy roads. I would...

This hotel is located in one of the most beautiful areas in France - Verdon Gorge. The driving view is spectacular, and you feel like a real knight arriving at last to the castle. We slept in the family suite with our two sons. We loved every second. The crew is kind and friendly. Breakfast is served in the courtyard...

We have visited Trigance before, but never stayed at Chateau de aTrigance. We will strongly recommend the Chateau, because of the surrounding nature, the quality of the rooms, the capability of the staff, the quality of the food - both breakfast and dinner. We will inform friends of the Chateau and recommend it.

Chateau de Trigance was easy to find (you can see it from miles away), the parking is secure as it's out of the way of any other traffic, and the village is very pretty. We were warmly welcomed and quickly shown to Suite number 1, which was huge, cool and airy, with a private terrace and lots of windows, the...
