We had a single night stay over here. The owners son was very friendly and introduced us to the town. Very classy rooms with a mixture of mauric / arab lamps, renaissance furniture and dark wooden quality floor. Good bed. Great shower. Beautiful arab inspired atrium garden. We didnt have breakfast there as it was closed for the period. But...

I had a 3 night stay in a delightfully peaceful room overlooking the courtyard with its tall trees and tinkling fountain. The hotel is very well maintained with many comfortable areas to relax in and enjoy the otherworldly character of the place. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

This is a beautiful gem in the center of town. Historic wooded building which was revovated while paying attention to every small detail. The staff is very friendly and the charming girl who welcomed us at the reception spoke fluent English. The room was convenient, superb bedding. Breakfast is served a-la-carte and is nice. Placed in a very good location...

After Hotel Augustin we had awfully experiences on otherTenerife hotels. Highly recommend this charming place. Friendly service and if you are fore a peaceful holiday book there. So much more charming that the concrete blocks around Tenerife. The island has much to offer, but go fore Augustin Hotel if you want to avoid the tourist crowd.

This is a beautifully renovated historic house in the centre of the town on a narrow one way street where with no parking. We arrived at about 15:00 hrs to find the place locked, but there were instructions to ring a telephone number. The receptionist arrived 5 minutes later. We checked in and asked about the free parking . This...

Centrally located in Icod de los Vinos, the San Augustin hotel is a small family owned, boutique hotel that has been renovated with great care and really nicely decorated. The breakfast was really good and freshly prepared for us. For dinner we went to La Parada, a small Canarian restaurant a few streets away with great regional specialties and very...

Lovely, centrally located hotel - converted from an old house with a beautiful Courtyard used for breakfasts and as a cafe. Just 8 rooms. Staff are very helpful. They organised dinner bookings and taxi - and looked after us very well for our special anniversary. Much appreciated. The historic house is beautifully restored with rooms opening off galleries around the...

2 nights on Christmas eve in this small hotel were like a trip to the past. This small hotel is very charming and historic. It is located in old building situated at the main pedestrian street of the city. Because of that it could be noisy in the room overlooking the street, room has wooden window frames with chinks—but that...

Hello Usenko! Thank you so much for your lovely review! We are so happy to hear that you liked your stay with us and that you appreciated being in XVIII century restored Canarian home. It is in fact a very different hotel from the ones you could find in beach resorts. It is true that the two rooms facing the...

My husband and I stayed here in January 2014 along with two of our best friends. We booked two rooms and stayed next door to one another. The Inn is completely charming, historical, and the perfect place for travelers who like unique out-of-the-way places. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip, and we loved the town of...

Hello Hanna S! Thank you so much for your nice review! What a pleasure to hear that you liked our small hotel, and that it even was one of your highlights! You are right that our hotel is completely the opposite of a big box hotel, as we have just eight rooms in a recently fully restored Canarian home. And...

Stayed there 4 nights with my girlfriend. Place is superb (typical colonial Canarian house) and service as well. Parking available 3 minutes away. Breakfast is also included and you can choose among a nice variety of food. Only (minor) drawback would be the limited amount of hot water and the fact that there is no heater in the rooms. In...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Hotel Emblemático San Agustín has only eight rooms, all of them individually decorated, but with a clear common factor: prioritize the guests’ rest for them to relax. For this purpose, highest quality elements have been used, with fine cotton linens and a varied pillow menu for the guests to be able to personalize their experience at the Hotel. The Hotel has been restored respecting the traditional island architecture, being six of the rooms configured around a patio with clear Canarian style elements. The remaining two rooms have windows facing the main building’s façade, overlooking one of the main commercial streets of the town. In the Hotel’s patio is a pleasant cafeteria in which the breakfasts are served and, during the rest of the day, it is possible to have a light snack or enjoy a natural shake or a fruit juice. All the guests are welcomed with a drink. Everything is focused for the guests to feel just like at home. ... more   less

“Some rooms overlook the Canarian patio, two the commercial street where the hotel is located (we stayed in one of this our first time at the hotel, and loved it!), and one room is by itself on the second floor (in which we stayed this time) with its own terrace. Each room is different...so it depends on what you like!”
