Good quality chalet (very similar to others in the Les Balcons group), but our room was in the eaves of the building with only a skylight (no window or balcony). The roof had a thick covering of snow (not surprising in winter!), which meant that there was no natural light. Also, for obvious reasons, the skylight could not be opened.... More

La Rosiere is the perfect place for any skiers-if you're just starting or an expert, with a range of easy and hard slopes, it makes a great family destination. When you're out skiing, there are really good facilities. There are 2 restaurants on the slopes with spectacular food eg: the chips, utterly amazing. Also, there is a ski park, cross... More

We went as a family of four, with another family of three. We stayed in Le Balcons, which are in the Les Eucherts area of La Rosiere. We could ski back to the chalet, but not ski from the chalet - but it was only a 5-10 minute walk to the nearest chairlift (Les Eucherts) which almost takes you high... More

Great place and authentic alpine vacation. Ski in-out and cosy area make your chalet our preferred destination and a recurring customer. We would favour flexible approach to parking, thus providing parking service the last day where we always go for skiing and would value a safe place to park.

Good size and well equipped apartment. Very clean. Great location. Staff excellent. Ski in and out if you are good enough to turn on a tight slope. Actually in Les Eucherts not La Rosiere so be careful when booking ski rentals etc that you have the correct shop. Only negatives were a dog walking around the stairs looking for food... More

We stayed in Chalet Choucas (Block 1, floor 4), which was one large apartment taking up the entire top floor of the chalet. There were 11 of us in the apartment in total, sharing communal dining areas and lounge. Each room had its own bathroom, although the showers had no wall fixing so you had to hold the shower head... Just returned from an excellent weeks skiing in La Rosiere staying at the Chalet Belette part of the Les Balcons de la Rosiere complex. We stayed on 3rd floor in a catered chalet with Ski world, our host Ami was very good, serving up meals on 6 days (Dinner & Breakfast) The food was pretty good most of the time... More

I would like to tell everyone thinking of booking this chalet with Ski World what a wonderful cook the chalet hostess is. Her name is Finn, and she cooked large and delicious meals, coping with ease with vegans and vegetarians. She was always available on time, well organised and helpful. The Chalet itself is comfortable, with the most most wonderful... More

We were in block 8 in a large 7/8 bedroom chalet. We arrived separately from the rest of our group by hire car. There is a large underground car park....book it ! Otherwise its like trekking to Everest base camp if you have any equipment at all. The accommodation is well used, it does what it says on the tin.... More

A very good skiing holiday. The location is excellent and easy to get to by train then bus or taxi. The apartments are of a good size and well equipped. There are a few places to eat out as well as a supermarket. There are more restraunts and a larger supermarket in the main resort of la Rosiere a short... More
