The hotel is located in the center of the city, close to all there is to do. I arrived quite late at the hotel. It was nicely lit from the outside. I could not miss it. The restaurant was already closed and the bar was about to close. The nice lady waited for me to check in and give me a coffee anyway. Check in was very friendly and it was done in no time. I got a room on the top floor. The room is very spacious. it is a bit of a shame, they didn't do more with all that space. With some investments, this is certainly worth a 4 star hotel. The breakfast was very good. All the classic tings you can expect in a Slovak hotel.
Everything was fine. The breakfast was delicious. The Room was spacious and clean. The parking was free (Not in the hotel's parking lot). Kubinska Hola is appr. 20 min from the hotel. Great deal for the price!
We stayed for one night. The hotel was in the centre of the historical district and the more interesting landmarks were just a few minutes walk from the hotel. Perhaps it was off peak tourist season and the area was dead quiet at night and not noisy at all. The room was very spacious and comfortable. A coffee/tea maker in the room would be a welcome feature.
We stayed here on a warm Saturday evening. The hotel is centrally located, and there is no limit to how long people can sit outside the bars drinking. So there was quite a bit of noise until around 5am. The hotel and room was quite ok. Breakfast was average.
The only place to stay in this town in my opinion, excellent spacious rooms, nice breakfast and very helpful staff. Very quiet with a great sleep considering the position right in the old town centre. They have a great cafe bar downstairs.
This hotel has got ideal local, pretty much down town with expectation of quiet sleep. This however was unfortunately the case of first night. Upon our arrival we heard very loud music and after asking receptionist when will that be over, she couldn't answer. She only mentioned it was gypsy party. To make long story short, that night turned for me very long one. No way to sleep as the music was so loud that even the walls were shaking. Hotel fell into silence at 5:30am - not kidding. Hope the gypsies enjoyed their time while not enabling me to sleep. On the other hand restaurant personnel was very friendly and apologetic the next morning - they seemed to be aware we couldn't sleep. Rooms amenities are decent, even though finding a plug in the room was a bit of a challenge at first. The found a couple of plugs, however charging cell phone required placing cell phone on the carpet. Rooms were a bit overheated and keeping window open throughout the night was a bit inconvenient. At the check-out we asked for first night discount and received one. It was greatly appreciated. Next time when planning to stay at Ruzomberok, will make sure to check on events prior to making a booking.…
I stayed for three nights while on business. I liked the fact that the room was a bit more spacious than usual. Nice view from the front of the town square and surrounding hills. The staff were nice, and the breakfast was fine. There is a Tesco supermarket within walking distance also. In fact, almost everything is within walking distance since it is a small town. Nice coffee shop across the street.
The hotel is bright and shiney and the rooms are large and have all the comforts you need. The restaurant and bar are spacious and offer good relaxation. The breakfast buffet is well stocked and refills were done effienciently.
I drove through Ruzomberok with my son and we needed to stop for one night. We were very surprised. Hotel was on a quiet place. There were enough parking places next to hotel. (We came around 21:30) The entrance hall was little dark I was not sure with the choice of the hotel at first. But the room was big, nice, clean. Some rooms have beautiful view to mountains. Equipment was very good. Hotel had some style. It is not easy to explain, you need to see the hotel from inside. It is really nice. Breakfast was very good. Checkin and checkout was fast. Prize was OK. The stuff was excelent. They were willing to help with problems that were not concerning the hotel. The receptionist was smart, kind and helpful. Thank you once again. The hotel is on the crossroad if you want to go to mountains and you not sure were.…
Good things: private parking next to the hotel (costs 5 EURO/day), big rooms, clean rooms, clean bathroom, very polite and helpful receptionists; location - right in the middle of the town. Bad things: fridge in our room was not working; the toilet is in a separate room than the shower; the flushing of the toilet was a little bit problematic, but it worked eventually; breakfast was really poor (only a few options, only instant coffee). Bottom line: no special reason not to stay there. It's clean and decent, except for the breakfast. Value for money is average so, if you have not a better deal, this one is ok.
