On holidays staying in the area, dropped in at 9 o’ clock and was told they were closing even though there were people outside drinking. Returned the next evening at 8 o’clock and asked for a drink and I was told they were closed, even though some people were outside with drinks. What is wrong here? Do they want tourism and business? Seriously, 8 o’ clock? Turning people away? There were no opening hours on the door so no idea ... should I come back at 7 next time??

Yes, this is a 2 stars hotel, so the building itself is not a cozy place to stay. But it has the best location in Ruzomberok. Also, the personal is very kindly and professional. The food is absolutely fantastic. Just check the location of this place!:-) Near the hotel you can rent any kind of skis, bikes, much more. Because there are very few foreigner tourists , all the informations are written only in Slovak language. But you can always ask!:-)

We stayed there for 4 nights. Felt a bit like a student accomondation and dated, but i am giving it a 5stars cause i feel we got what we paid for. I was not expecting to be at hilton hotel.... Great location, beautiful scenery. There only couple of things i would change - need different curtains for the windows, and a kettle with cups. The way the restaurant is set up is a bit strange at first.... You prebook your meal, then it all comes at once and no drinks are served - in and out affair :-)

Services within this hotel are terrible. Food, the staff and the looking of the hotel is bad. On the other hand the nature is beautiful. I recommend to go to Janosikove diery, Orava castle, Tarzania and to use the lift to Malino Brdo. Scenery is excelent.

The Hotel is situeted in buetiful country between big mountines.In front of Hotel is beautiful lakes. In hotel is big room (restaurant or for event) with big window with view on lakes and valley.This scenery is very beautiful. But it is all what I can recomend.I stayed there 2 nights , rooms are little ,cold. All is looking as all would be made 30or50 years ago( rooms , toilets and bath rooms). Beds were too soft. If you want to stay there check another hotels and compare their prices for rooms.Because this hotel is not good , I can compere this hotel with tent:)))
