We stayed for one night only. The room was nice and clean and had a private bathroom. The price is okey for the room. The hostel has a huge outdoor area with hammocks, pool and a green area perfect for relaxing because of the breeze. The hostel is right on the beach. The staff is very friendly and even let...

This s a lovely hostel on the beach. The breakfast was very good and cheap. As with many hostels there was no hot water, but otherwise the rooms were clean and comfortable. There is not much to do in the town but the turtle conservation park nearby is definitely worth a visit

It is however on the beach and there a two OK restaurants to eat at next door. They will also deliver to the Hostal if you ask. There is a pool and...

Greetings TA-ers: My bride and I spent two night during the Nicaraguan Independence Day celebrations and it was a good choice. We enjoy the Popoyo area but the lodging options there were either full, too expensive, or full of partiers for my taste. Las Hamacas has every (basic) thing you could want and at a more economical nightly rate than...

Hamacas is the inly decent place to stay if you are going to Astillero. It is a bit expensive compared to other places in Nicaragua, especially because there is no internet. A pool is available and the owner of the hotel will help you with everything, if anything else needed, Mario is the most kind staff member available.
