First thing to point is that the hotel only has twin bedded rooms. They advertise Double rooms on their website but reception said this just means for 2 people. The car parking for a hotel this size is appalling. I had to wait in the car park for an hour to get a space because all parking around the hotel is open to the public including camper vans. In fact one van was parked outside our Seaview terrace for 3 days with 2 adults and 3 dogs inside. They even used the boot washing facilities at the front doors of hotel to wash clothes, brush teeth etc. Breakfast buffet was adequate with all the basics but dinner buffet in half board option was not good. Very little choice and a lot of the hot food was barely warm. Most of the staff in the hotel were really nice, especially the housekeeping staff. However, there is one member of staff in the dining room who never speaks is totally un-engaging and makes you feel most unwelcome. This needs to be addressed by the management, perhaps some customer service training is required for her. The room itself offered everything you need but the whole hotel could do with some attention to detail. It's location is good and it could be 4 star if it could sort out the car parking issues and improve on the food offered. We will definitely be back to Valley Gran Rey and La Gomera but not this hotel if we bring the car. Loads of precious holiday time wasted looking for parking.

There are more accommodations claiming sea view and beach access in the whole island. Between the hotel and the sandy beach is one neighborhood street leading to nowhere. So washrooms and utilities of the hotel are close to the beach. That is outstanding there. The roof top pool, bar, and restaurant provide sunsets galore. The area of valley Gran Rey is mass tourism for "green people" afraid of mass tourism. Guests are vacation hippies with rental cars from Germany. We stayed two weeks in Corona shut down and it was a treat! Half board served in the roof top restaurant, regular it is served as buffet in the basement. The hotel is one of the few place offering food prepared to gourmet standards. La Gomera is single theme island, which is hiking in the rainforest. Hotel staff is fluent Spanish English German at least.

The hotel is located next to several restaurants, easy to walk to many places. It was also clean and quiet hotel and all the services were running normally even during the Christmas. Very good night sleeps and the view is beautiful to the mountains and to the sea. Hotel breakfast was plentiful with fresh fruits and plenty to choose from. One of the best views from the breakfast area I have ever experienced in a hotel! Service was very friendly! I can definitely reccommend, only minus would be that the pool water was freezing. Special thanks to the area in the kids pool, as it has fake grass, which makes it non-slippery. Never experienced this anywhere else, as kids tend to run around the pool it makes it more safe. Would definitely visit again!

This hotel is situated in the nicest valley of La Gomera - right at the sea front. It seems that the rooms were upgraded but the bathrooms/restaurant were not. Lots of Germans in this Hotel and the village. In my opinion, the Hotel could do with an update. Nevertheless, the valley is great and so are the restaurants nearby. The island is just amazing. Breakfast is reasonable.

Stayed here for 7 days as part of an organised tour The hotel is away from the busier side of the island and is right on the sea front and the breakfast room is on the terrace and you are able to sit outside and the restaurant is on the ground floor If you require a room with a sea view then state on booking - the best views are at the front with the sea view Plenty of places to eat and relax Breakfasts and evening meals were buffet style
