A super B&B just outside of Oban so very convenient for an overnight prior to catching a ferry to one of the islands. The hospitality was excellent as was the breakfast that set us up nicely for the day. The room had everything we needed. There was a good pub (listed in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide) just 200m away... Shirley was friendly and efficient. The breakfast was perfectly cooked. My first floor single room had a beautiful sea view. I had a dedicated shower room which was on the ground floor. I was pleased to find a b and b where the single room was not more expensive pppn than the double/twin rooms - I think it was in... More

This Guest house (as opposed to a b&b) was conveniently placed near Connel Bridge not far from Oban. We requested a ground floor room as my wife has difficulty climbing stairs. The room was a disappointment. Although not modern it appeared clean. However it smelled unpleasant due we think, to the carpet? I have slept in better beds and the... More

A really comfortable guest house. A pleasant friendly welcome and a lovely quiet room with an outstanding view over the bay. Plenty of space (a very nice sitting room) and an excellent breakfast. Good private parking. The Oyster Inn is a couple of hundred yards away so it is not essential to drive to eat.

We've just returned from a 2 night stay in this lovely b&b and couldn't recommend it highly enough! As we arrived we were warmly welcomed on arrival by Shirley the owner; she was so helpful and informative, keen to answer any queries we had about the property or the local area. Breakfast the following morning was like a three course... More

We had a super tough time finding a place to stay in Oban so I looked farther afield and found Ronebhal by chance. What serendipity! Shirley was a kind and helpful hostess, calling the ferry to get us reservations in the morning or just chatting to see how our day went in the evening. Her friendliness was infectious and pretty... We stayed at Robehal for our first night in Scotland after our flight from Canada. Our room was clean and quiet and our bed was comfortable - exactly what we needed after a long flight. Shirley, the hostess, was very welcoming and helpful. We will not hesitate to stay at Ronebhal next time we visit the north of Scotland. The... More
