There are hardly words to describe the warmth and other great aspects of this hotel. The hotel is a three star place that has everything in the technical sense that you expect from a three star hotel. Beyond that it has a lot of things that a lot of higher ranked hotels lack. The view: situated just opposite the Mont... More

Wonderful, charming and cosy. Manageress/owner and staff very helpful, friendly and hard working. If your are looking for a comfortable, clean, quiet hotel in Alps with a fantastic view and all the basic facilities needed for a relaxing holiday then La Cordonant might be just what you are looking for. We used it as a base for skiing and we... More

Stayed at this hotel a few years ago with my wife and we really enjoyed it. Quiet and picturesque spot in a quaint village, cozy rooms, great food and nice hospitality, as well as really good value. Stopped by again last week on the way back from Chamonix to Geneva for lunch and it seems that happily nothing has changed.... More

We were traveling from Italy to Britain and after a day of driving arrived at Le Cordonant to a warm welcome and a beautiful room with a spectacular view of Mont Blanc. After a beer on the terrace we walked for five minutes into the small village of Cordon which has a bar, a cafe, shops and a pizzeria. We... More

This is an exceptional small hotel in a most beautiful place. The location is wonderful, in the tiny village of Cordon, with great views of the Mont Blanc massif. Rooms. Dining room and bar/lounge area very cosy and comfortable, and perfect to hang out in in inclement weather. Excellent cuisine (looked forward all day to the superb dinners!) and very... More

We decided to return to this lovely hotel overlooking the Mont Blanc, where we had a pleasant stay two years ago. The owner of the place is extremely kind and helpful. The room is a bit small but comfortable. The bathroom could benefit from a change of the showerhead and a hook to hang it on. Dinner and breakfast were... More

Sandrin the owner is extremely friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast. Great view from hotel and dining room. Rooms are clean. Bed was a bit too soft. Well heated. Located close to ski shop for renting equipment. 15 minutes drive to Megeve's la princess ski resort.

Le Cordonnant is a lovely bed&breakfast. The friendly staff always cares about the little details. It is very well located (about 15min drive from Megeve ski resort). It's got beautiful views and the rooms are very clean. I loved the small lounge area by the restaurant. We were a group of 5 so it was where we hung out before... More

Weekend hotel. There is nothing to do but sleep and eat. No fun! There are only two big pluses: view and restorant. There are many tasty dishes to taste for breakfast and dinner. It worth wisiting for several days, but not more.

Le cordonant has a fantastic setting, high up, facing over with an unobstructed view of the Mont Blanc massif. It really is picture postcard scenery. The hotel is homely but efficient, with very helpful, friendly staff, and very good food. A great stop.
