As a whole, there is not much to Agulo. Its banana packing industry died out years ago, leaving behind its rusting facilities and terraces of ancient trees decaying untidiy. Bananas are still grown on private plots...
It's a rural hotel, meaning there is no staff. A bit deserted with very little atmosphere. Breakfast was disappointing with no fruit, very little choice, poor presentation, no ambiance and very old school music...
