At the same end of Hermigua village at the main road to Agulo with nice view to coast of Hermigua valley and Teneriffe island. In apartment is all You need for staying here even for cooking, price is good, there are very steep stairs to apartment so not suitable for disabled. Rent a car is very recommended for distance to shops (Spar), restaurants, beach (to beach you have to use either car - 20 minutes - or walk - more than 1 hour) - nearest beach is behind opposite cliff/hill. As the pool is in Jardin La Punta may be suitable for children. Recommendation for staff: try to speak english, your guests do not will study Gomera Spain dialect (the same for all island)! Cleaning of apartment could be a bit more often, especially refuse removal! Be ready for closed reception and for calling staff by Your mobile phone (try to save phone number to Your mobile before You leave home, phone No. is on reception door as well). Some noise from main road during the night, especially from 5am.…
A perfect base from which to explore the magic island of Gomera. The kitchen was adequately equipped, and the rooms were well furnished. We do however recommend hiring a car to get around the island, as the apartments are not particularly close to a supermarkets and bus services are infrequent. The whole complex has marvellous views looking back over the ocean to Tenerife, where El Tiede emerges mystically from the clouds every so often. Overall an enjoyable stay, would recommend it for all.
No information about where to put trash, resulted in trash outside for both us and the neighbours, resulted in rats. No one in reception during opening hours. No information about public transports, taxi, washing machine, beach or supermarket. No English speaking personnel on the info-telephone number. No information about cleaning material. A sign at the pool with the text "no swimming" Nice view. We would have appreciated it if we were informed beforehand that it is impossible to live here without a car. Especially since we have children, and have been forced to hitch hike with them. We suggest you inform people before booking that it is not especially friendly for kids or handicapped people. We also suggest you have a leaflet of some sort in each flat, providing the above mentioned missing information. We were looking forward to give this place a positive review but unfortunately we are quite disappointed.…
