Elaine & Sharon, it was a pleasure to have you stay with us for part of your epic walk through Northumberland. Sue & I are so pleased you thought Allerhope House "What a fabulous place" and "Felt like royalty". We do try our best to make our guests stay memorable. Fluffy Eggs are the way forward. Glad you made it home. Hope to see you again.

A beautifully presented house where attention to detail is very much in evidence. The bedroom was a good size and spotlessly clean; a large comfortable bed. The bathroom was well equipped and the toiletries were of a good quality; I liked the fact that there was three toilet rolls and large towels. Breakfast was superb, lots of choice and my husband enjoyed the fluffy eggs. Extras included: dressing gowns, slippers and local Holy Island mead to taste. We had a fabulous stay and would return if the friendly hosts were not retiring.

Excellent. This is one of the best places we stayed in and we have stayed in many nice places. We would have returned. Unfortunately Chris and Sue are retiring this week! So unless you are booked in now you are going to miss out. The breakfasts and morning chats really got our days off to a good start.

Clive & Hilary, it was pleasure to have you both stay with us. Sue & I are so proud you consider our establishment "Excellent" and that "This is one of the best places we stayed in and we have stayed in many nice places". Once again thank you so much we really appreciate that you took the time to complete both reviews for us. Sometimes good things must come to an end and soon we will be retiring. However, I have no doubt that in time someone will pick up the baton and run with it. Hope to see you again, good luck with your RNLI venture.

We spent two nights at Chris and Sue's excellent B and B. We could not have been more delighted with the accommodation which was tastefully furnished and well equipped. The breakfast which we were served was as good as any we have had in top class establishmehnts in the UK, Europe and USA. Fresh fruit salad, freshly brewed coffee and a superb selection of cooked offerings. This was only surpassed by the hospitality shown to us by the hosts. Altogether an unforgettable experience.
