Just returned from a few days break with friends in one of our favourite places to stay. The location is perfect , the views amazing . If you want a perfect farmhouse bed and breakfast or self catering country cottage you cannot fail to love this place. Ann and Husband John and their team make you so welcome . This is a working farm as well as a gorgeous place to stay, a place which will make you want to return again and again. The rooms are beautifully decorated with every comfort you will need . The attention to detail is amazing not to mention the five star breakfast! Thank you Ann for making our visit, as always, perfect . We’ll be back !

Can’t recommend highly enough! Set in beautiful farmland and stunning views over Rothbury. We had the most gorgeous king size room with dressing room and en suite facilities, and full use of the lounge area which was well equipped with breakfast facilities as the Covid situated only allowed air B and B style at the time! Nothing was too much trouble for Lyndsey who even baked us extra brownies as I complimented how gorgeous they were only for my husband to scoff them all before I got a sniff! Everywhere is beautifully furnished, clean and comfortable my only worry was the dining table was too nice to spill wine on! If you do go to Rothbury you must stay here it’s divine and going to Cragside is a must, it’s an enchanting area..

Wonderful place, and such a friendly welcome. Our room was overlooking stunning countryside towards the Cheviot Hills. Very calming. Ours was a twin bedded spacious room, with very modern bathroom, a well stocked drinks tray with biscuits. In line with Covid rules no-one entered our room while we occupied it. Breakfast was superb, served in a conservatory overlooking the same view as our room above. Tables were well spaced for social distancing, and the cooked breakfast was superb. Each of the 3 mornings we stayed there, I ordered smoked salmon with scrambled egg, which was the best I have had in any B&B establishment. It was so peaceful there, and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.
