The apartments were fairly basic, but clean and adequate if you weren't intending to cook Cordon Bleu while you were there. Helpful management and buying 5 ltrs of water from reception a good option to save carrying it. A good location for Los Gigantes central, with the harbour and lots of restaurants within a few minutes walk. Obviously a bit...

We have now been here about 6 times over the last 8 years so it's not all bad. The trouble is, there is not much accommodation to choose from in Los Gigantes. Royal Sun looks nice but is too far up the hill, the hotel is more expensive and Poblado Marinero is very dated, just like El Sombrero. These apartments...

Apartments were basic and very dated but spacious. The complex including rooms, pool etc was kept immaculately clean. Our room had an amazing sea view but not all rooms have this some look on to other apartments or the street. Location is good, close to sea, beaches, natural pool and restaurants. Lidl is within walking distance although up a steep...

These apartments are roughly an hour and a half's drive using the airline transfer coach from Tenerife South airport. The apartments are in seven blocks, six of which are around the swimming pool (the seventh is by a side road). This means that the noise from the swimming pool permeates the whole complex and beyond. So, if you don't mind...

El Sombrero does not change.(well it does actually as they now have sit up sunbeds). It is very good value ,well maintained and very clean. The rooms contain a full kitchen and room safe.no air conditioning, not really a problem in winter. However I would urge people with problems walking not to go there. I think Travel Agents and Airtours do...

We had never visited Tenerife before or holidayed in November, but were pleasantly surprised on both counts. El Sombrero was superb and the weather was fantastic. The apartment was spacious, clean and well placed being only a short walk away from a number of restaurants and bars. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment which was well equipped. Admittedly we...

Just returned from a great week away; two children two mothers and a wife in tow made for a great family holiday. Ok so its a bit hilly to walk anywhere too far, especially with the Mom's. However, all the amenities are close at hand, bars, restaurants ALDI etc.. will definitely be returning for half term next year...

A warts and all review of the apartments, restaurants, bars, resort and surrounding area, hope this helps people.... Lovely little apartment complex. We didn't have one of the best rooms in terms of view but nonetheless we were quite content with overlooking the main road and having a distant sea view. Our apartment (for 4 but only 2 of us...
