Perfectly located small hotel, right in the center of Vilaflor, at the main square of the village and the beginning of the tourist trail. Great for trekkers and stargazers. A very nice place with spacious, bright interiors and a rustic atmosphere. Quiet and relaxing. Very...More
Had a great time stargazing with Steve, very informative. Hotel was great, rustic Spanish, we had a great room, best bed I’ve slept in for ages. Angela cooked us a great meal & nothing was too much trouble. Meet some nice people too.
I have stayed in casa zaguan on many occasions, it is spotless and run impeccibly.
Everytime we visit we always get treated like a special guest as we did on the first time.
Angela and stephen are fantastic and make our family very welcome

This is not hotel, at least not typical of hotels in Tenerife. It is a home away from home. Stephen and Angela are warm and welcoming to all their guests. The building itself has unique, local architecture and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.

The fella who owns the guest house takes you up in a mini van. Maximum 8 people. Stops for fizz and sunset , then up to plateau to watch stars rising for about an hour. After you return to hotel and go on the roof to look at stars Theo his huge telescope. Reduced price for those who stay at hotel. If you google the property then it should come up on the site.
I suggest it's a warm weather experience, too cold at this time of year plus snow could stop you going up.
