First the good. Nice building and spa. The service in the restaurant is good especially Raul. Food was good and not over priced for a hotel restaurant. Location is tranquil. The bad At breakfast we found the eggs were cooked with ham. We politely asked in Spanish for eggs without ham as my girlfriend is a vegetarian and the waitress...

The service was horrible. Very rude. One of my customers was shout by the manager. We were amazed that we couldn't buy a bottle of water in the restaurant between 22 and 12 hours. The restaurant is totally overpriced. 22 euros the menu, and the service is very slow. Better get a taxi and go 5 kilometers down to another...

Very good room and location, there were some ants but we mentioned it to receptionist and they were cleared out immediately. Food very good and different every day. Staff were very helpful at all times.

Quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Typical Spanish rustic hotel. Had a lovely overnight experience at this hotel. Checked in at 14.00 quick and efficient. Spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing in the Spa . Dinner in the evening was superb, service excellent . Rooms were as you would expect in a rural Spanish rustic Hotel. Breakfast next morning was fine,...

Great relaxing 1 week stay. Beautifully peaceful and far enough away from the (vile) resort towns of Los Americas and Los Cristianos, although they are within reach if you really need them and have a car but the selling point here is its tranquility and rural location. It is tastefully decorated with a modern boutique yet rustic appearance. Long mountain...

We stayed at El Nogal Hotel for 2 glorious weeks. Our room was very large, with an additional enclosed Conservatory on the corner of the building, so we had panoramic Ocean Views. When we arrived, the restaurant had just closed, so reception arranged for us to have a room service meal, alongside our welcoming drinks. We also had a huge...

What potential! Lovely old mansion, delightful outdoor swimming pool, great grounds, fantastic views, miles out in the countryside. But clearly understaffed with nobody seemingly in charge. Bedroom best characterised as rustic with air-con that could not cope. Dinner was a disaster with awful fixed price menu food. Breakfast was possibly worse. Although in an attractive cellar room, the food was...

You really need a sat nav to find this place. The direction signs are crap. Not even Garmin database! Nevertheless this is a hidden gem. I guess an old 17thC Manor House. Just wish they have a historical rundown of the place. There is a water cistern behind the hotel. Purpose?? Just be aware that the house adjoining keeps dogs...
