Having travelled worldwide and stayed in a lot of 5 star hotels, I can honestly say this has to be one of the best places I have ever stayed in. Everything is brand new, ultra modern and it’s spotlessly clean. You have use of the kitchen area to enjoy a free breakfast and make drinks whenever you want to. There is a beautiful terrace with fabulous views to enjoy. The hostel is within 10 minutes walk of the port so you have everything on the doorstep. Maria and her son who manage it are both lovely and will go out of there way to make your stay enjoyable.
Stayed here very recently. And, folks we found the place to be perfect. Lets start from the beginning. a welcome text and almost a text book in would give us all the details and allow entrance to the Sosiego and our rooms. Always a hassle free top mark here. The rooms are very clean, and kept that way. Its all you want really. Its a blend between hostel and hotel. Its private, and quiet. It has no pretentions. We were allowed to use the facilities of the lounge / breakfast room. Complimentary drinks and the use of a large fridge and eating implements. We tended to use the lounge for our own meals, sit and watch the TV, and gaze out at the Med and the Sierras on the comfortable sofa. Next the terrace. over looking the beaches and views to the horizon watching the shades of the mountains change colours with the sunsets; as well as the local populace and cats. The staff here are excellent, and very accommodating with our basic Spanish. The Sosiego brings a mixture of nationalities all happy enough to have a conversation or three. Its that kind of place. A Hostel for grown ups, and having lived for a large chunk of my 20's in hostels around the world I felt quite at home, and comfortable to chat with both the staff and guests. Something that you just will not get in a normal hotel.…
One word for this Hostel - Pristine. We stayed for one night, the room was very small but immaculate. Comfortable and clean beds. Bed linen looked brand new. The whole Hostel was clean from top to bottom. Parking outside Hostel which was great. Good welcome from young man who explained all about Mazzaron, There is a app on the back of the door which allows you to download a map. Only two streets away from the Port. Breakfast basic but ample. Roman Museum at bottom of the street just before the port. Free and very interesting Highly recommend this Hostel.
We booked this hotel at the last minute when our original hotel cancelled due to COVID-19. I had second thoughts about the booking when I realised it was called a Hostal. Don’t let the name fool you this was better than some 4* hotels we have stayed in. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff, especially Gloria were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast although basic is free, so no complaints there. The location is fantastic, only 3 minutes walk to either the beach or the high street although it is in the middle of a very Spanish residential area. I cannot recommend the HOTEL highly enough.
I stayed 2 nights hotel because the apartment, called "Sosiego Home", were occupied. The summary for the two establishments (hotel B&B and apartment) is the same. Friendly staff, excellent value for money. All new and very comfortable, 10/10
