We stayed two weeks in this hotel. On arrival we found a bottle of wine in our very spacious two bedroom appartment. Balcony with beautiful seaview. A good start for a pleasant stay. Breakfast was good and variety was big enough. The swimmingpool had great sunbeds. Cleaning was fine and good. Further I must make a remark about the friendlyness and helpfullness of the staff (reception, pool area and restaurant). All people were very friendly and made our stay a good one in this hotel. Even the last day. Special thanks to Daniel Rivas who helped a lot (even before we arrived. Thanks again!) In the near surrounding of the hotel (across the street) you can find good restaurants: Day and Night, Delhi Darbar, l'Italiano) and (a bit further away near to the beach) Pepe were you can enjoy some good food.

My husband and I stayed here for a week at the beginning of January. Reception was good. Bright and airy. Quick check in. Our room was on the 2nd floor overlooking the ocean and the main road along the sea front. As soon as we opened the door we could smell damp. This smell soon left when we opened the patio doors. The apartment was a one bedroom....lounge area with sofa (bed) big tv and kitchenette. Patio doors leading onto a small balcony with two rattan chairs and coffee table. The bedroom was very large with a big double bed. Looks to of wardrobe space and safe. Patio doors leading to balcony as above. Air conditioning in both rooms is very good. Although the apartment is big clean and airy it is in need of modernising as it’s a bit tired. Noise from the road isn’t too bad but you can’t leave the doors open while in bed as traffic would disturb. ( I live in a quiet village). There are two lifts to all floors. They are quite quick so not having to wait around too long. On the roof is the pool and pool bar. It wasn’t very busy when we stayed so lots of sun beds and balanese sun beds were available. Pool bar served drinks and food. One downside is that the pool was freezing....warmer in the sea ! The area is not too bad. Not as touristy as a lot of places in the canaries but it is a bit. Plenty of restaurants to visit. Lots of shops and a few supermarkets. All very cheap compared to uk prices.

This hotel has a nice, quiet location for a family holiday. The rooms are basic, but there's plenty of space. The ocean view over the streets is really nice, you can see the sun set behind La Gomera island (and the fireworks at New Year's eve). There's basic kitchen supplies, so you can cook a simple lunch if you wish. The beds and sheets are not comfortable at all (my sheet had holes in it), the beds creek so loud when you turn or get up that you'll wake up the person next to you, so not for light sleepers. The bed had weird broken/ripped fabric hanging from the bottom. Pillows are good and big. The floors in the rooms don't feel clean and they are dangerously slippery if walking with wet, bare feet. Otherwise the rooms were clean. Breakfast is good and has variety. They brought gluten free bread and cookies upon request. The pool area is clean, nice and calm, but the water in the pool was freezing in December, even for the kids from Finland :D The kids of our family got to swim plenty, but apart from them only a few adults dipped in the water every now and then. The pool bar offers snacks and drinks, prices are reasonable, but quality is not superb. They were unable to come up with any gluten free tapas for 1 person, which felt weird since there was plenty gluten free stuff at breakfast, but I guess it was more about not being willing to be flexible. Our family had 3 rooms and the one that had kids was located right next to the swimming pool. It would have been nice to have all 3 rooms closer together (now we were all on different floors), but I understand that it's not always possible. From the 3 rooms our group had, all 3 rooms had malfunctioning air conditioning. Two rooms had aircon working only in the living room, but not in the bedroom (which was not a huge issue and we didn't ask for repairs, since we didn't need the 2nd one anyway). The third room had no working aircon at all, which they tried to fix but couldn't, so the air in the room was terrible, moist and hot, even though they kept the balcony door open at nights. There are quite a few restaurants right outside (Restaurante Plaza down the stairs on the street, close to the shore and a little Italian place were nice). There are more restaurants and shops in the bigger village center about 10-15 minutes walk away (nice scenery walk along the shoreline). The best restaurants we ate in the village were La Pergola and Melissa, which both had amazing food and service, and sunset views over the ocean. Service in the hotel is good and friendly, everyone was always smiling! :) Since the breakfast is so good and varied, the views and location are good, and the pool area is nice, I will give the hotel 3 stars. Without these, it would probably be just over 2 stars. We had a really nice holiday, but probably wouldn't choose this hotel again.

I’ve stayed here twice now and I love this hotel I really do but felt disappointed it wasn’t as great as the first visit. The hotel is lovely with a very safe homely feel with excellent views of the ocean and la gomera. The rooms are a tad outdated but comfortable and spacious. Pool area and roof terrace almost gives you a 5 star feel with the glass surround, pretty bar area and Balinese beds. Now for what disappointed me. Room Cleanliness: On arrival we found a baby meal in the microwave, it wasn’t mouldy or anything but this obviously should have been checked to see if it was clean before new guests checked in. Also the beday was filthy. the maid service really was shambolic this time around ( it was great last time) the maids only came around 5 times during our 14 nights despite our card on the door saying please clean my room. Once when we returned they had just made the bed and left us with no towels. When we rang reception the reception staff said we’d have to go to the ground floor to get them ourselves. Reception staff was great except one girl with blonde hair and glasses who had a face like thunder all the time and made us feel uncomfortable when we spoke to her. She was just plain rude. Breakfast awful ( again, was fantastic last time) cold food and eggs stale and hard. I honestly don’t know what to say about our stay overall because it was a mixed bag. Amazing in some areas and diabolical in others, but because of the amazing stay we had first time I would be tempted to give it another (last) chance.

We were without a water for almost 2 whole days. The swimming pool was sometimes very murky. It looked like it was not cleaned, or maybe too much Chlorine was added. Would give a 3 and a half star if I could here on tripadvisor. Because the staff was really helpful. And very sweet and grateful cleaning ladies. Attitude they had, I wish I had seen it elsewhere. We had 3 nights that we could not have slept well since there was some kind of very loud live music outside, which nobody warned us about in Hotel... A lot of different choice for breakfast. Nice variety, something for every taste.
